I still rode the stock model. Rather like the sound...but is this one bigger ? Would one have to remove it to get the wheel out (not necessary on the stock, but required with the double barrel akro...) ?

Not so bad, but I'm not a big fun of installing third party exhausts. Looks good, but if you travel long distances the "impressive sound" becomes a nuisance and tiring. Besides, in the helmet it sounds much different. I prefer to have as quiet a helmet as possible so that I can enjoy 'silence' or... spotify :-D

Sorry, but this is not enough to improve the terrible sound of the 1300GS! You also need to open the flap in the big box at the bottom of the motorcycle ;) Better yet, throw it away altogether!

Great sound comparison guys! The Akra slip on sounds great. My bike came with the Double-barrel Akra. Do you think it has the same sound or is this new slip-on even deeper than the stock Akra?

Der Original Auspuff klingt etwas dumpfer und somit besser, für mich jedenfalls. Der Remus klingt etwas blechern aber er sieht dafür besser aus als der Akrapovic und der Originale. Schwierige Entscheidung ??

C’mon there almost no difference in sound…I have CB 750 Hornet and was looking for the great exhaust long time and would say that Arrow Veloce which I bought is cheaper , but ok, the sound is 3 times better than this, I’m very happy with and would recommend it.

Not worth spending 10% of the total value of the motorcycle for a slip-on that sounds just a tad bit nicer than the stock one and because it has the akrapovic logo.
