I’ve always hated Crunchyroll in one way or another, Funimation wasn’t exactly perfect either but it just got worse when they merged. I’m leaning more towards distributors like Discotek, AnimEigo,etc. that actually care about their Fans and try to have good PR; most of all they don’t do any censorship bullshit with their translations, if it’s an older title that was previously licensed by another company in the past they mostly use the existing translation or make new subs from scratch. I’m talking mainly about physical media here in this instance, I never stream any anime Ever because I hate streaming services due to inferior video quality, prices and ads. If it’s an anime I’m interested in, buying it is the better option for me since I know no company will ever take it away from me because of loss of rights or whatever.

Honestly the anime is such a solid show (especially for a horror anime) because it knows how do make things dark when it needs to, it focuses on it's characters rather than it cheap scares, and it also knows how to have fun like with it's comedic relieves which helps us take a break from some of it's more intense moments. The characters themselves also aren't as normal/average people as they seem on surface level, and that's what makes them even more interesting and help drive the story. After all it's because of their abnormal personality traits they're so enjoyable to watch, be it their character chemistry (or even contrast) with each other or personal motivations,. They all find ways to help and complement each other while also having they're own reasonings to stay together, and not just leave or quit like any normal person would've done after a few encounters. Keitarou who seems to be the most normal of the trio, even a bit of a scaredy-cat, just can't find it in himself to just stop and secretly loves the terror. Yayoi always leading the charge and being so capable makes us forget she's just a kid so her childish glee for horror is cute to see. Eiko who is the least capable in the trio always clutches when it matters most (and I always love seeing her and Keitarou having a power couple moment). And Eiko's sadistic and yandere nature is honestly some of my favorite moments in the series (maybe bcuz I like yanderes) because she *is* the cat that's playing at deaths door for her curiosity of the supernatural

The reason i didn't watch it is because the MCs childhood friend ropes him in (regardless of the fact that he might subconsciously enjoy it) i also don't like that they ended up together for that same reason

The manga is still far ahead of the anime. If they want to, there's more than enough material for a 12 episodes saison, and probably enough for another a 24 one, assuming that they wait for the current arc to end.

I do think the last name drop and rejection of fixing his hair shows he is still hesitant and sceptical from the past so I think it understandable.

I did like this season Finally. I think this shows Aika feeling were very different than first appeared. I don't think this excuses Aika earlier treatment and her constant rejections before but I definitely started to like Aika more as the show went on so overall I can buy into the Romance by the end of this episode. Initially at the start i was like no anyone but Aika but now I can accept it and think it makes sense. I think Aika grew alot and is being more receptive and receiving and accepting and Wataru definitely grew alot much better than initially.

This was a good episode i liked that Aika is no longer in denial.

I liked this Episode. The character development was nice. I didn't really like Mina brother much. I do like seeing Wataru and Aika grow separately as people.

I did like the group chat moment. And mina was definitely meant to help Soja grow and develop as a character.

They swerved me with Fuuka she is a middle Schooler which blew that ship out. Honestly i was hoping he could move on from Aika but alright i kinda get it that is the main ship.

I felt so bad for MC in this episode but it was nice to see everyone concern and i like that Aika took up for him and didn't let her friend go through his bag that actually made me like Aika better and start to respect her more.

Oh yeah the no one too impress part hit me hard cause that would be me i do that too so relatable.

You can't redeem her in two episodes imo. This was expected, but it doesn't change the fact she has personal issues when it comes time to establish boundaries with Wataru. MC was building other healthy relationships and there was no closure there. Instead, we get a forced reconciliation between Aika and Wataru. This seems more like a toxic mental dance instead of romance.

I quite like the way they decided to go about this. It may look like things returned to status quo between them but not really. Before Sajo was a lot more in her face and Aika was quite frustrated. There is now a healthy balance where Aika and sajo aren't clinging onto each other but they can still care about each other.

sasaki really couldn't even get into the friend zone 😭The show is unironically a lot more interesting when they actually get aika involved in the plot. Good thing that Sajo explained everything because Fuuka and her friends made things insanely awkward. I dont think there will be a much of a conclusion here but they will probably end the season on fairly good terms. If only we had an extra episode or two that was wasted on mina.

This episode was very long overdue. Its good that we got it because the show was feeling completely directionless for awhile there. I honestly just skipped just the shop scene at the beginning of the episode because I wanted to see something different. Big sis being big sis as usual, bit too much close up on the feet. It was nice to see rin again because her dynamic with sajo is quite nice. The flashback is very important but I feel like the impact could've been greater if we got to see more from natsukawa earlier. She does truly care about him, as we could see in episode 5, but the show didn't really give her a chance to express herself. Honestly episode 7 should've focused on Natsukawa instead of being a beach episode, would help make her more interesting to the audience.

This series is such an underrated gem. It's one of the coziest shows I've seen.

Don't think I've ever felt more conflicted about an episode of this show lol. On one hand, I think mina is a nice character. On the other, the brother and gf conversation was so awkward to watch. I hope we get more focus on natsukawa because she hasn't really had a chance to get much development.

I haven't read the LN, but Fuuka seems to be garnering fans. The opposite of Aika. I hope the author catches on and makes Sasaki-san Wataru's girl in the end. Aika learning to be friends with him would be the diplomatic way of settling their relationship imo. Who knows?!?!!?
