Isn’t the point to win ? Seems like a dumb sport in general unless you’re just trying to have fun. But what’s fun about slapping a ball off a wall with your friends.

Handball/wallball definitely is a niche game and is not as appealing as the conventional sports like baseball or basketball. But to be fair, most sports can be simplified to hitting or throwing a ball with other people. At the end of the day, we are just trying to have some fun 😄

@@level99eevee we try to go for shots that will win 21 points before the other team. Some people like to shoot three pointers or dunk the ball, part of the fun is watching who has the accuracy to land the winning shots and how the different matchups play out.

Handball/Wallball. Hit the ball to the wall until the other guy can't return the ball back to the wall before two bounces. So hitting the ball at the crack of the wall usually wins a point, since it's almost impossible to hit the ball again.

This took over lunchtimes in my school. We called its scoop (cos if you scooped the ball thats a foul and we'd all shout it). The rules were known on the playground only and tbh every group had a slight variation, the only constant was the name, the need for a tennis ball and a wall

Some competitive players with spirit and heart slide and dive on concrete in their money game, definitely an incredible sight. There are also indoor courts where diving is safer 🙏

Yes, the ball can sting a bit, even when wearing handball gloves or if someone hits a power shot. But you get used to the sting after playing a few games. The game is basically hit the ball away from the opponent, so that they cannot return the ball before the second bounce.
