I use the tip 41 42 44 ,also rhe Darlington style variable pwr with tip 120 but u can use all types the cap value is key and layout is key i prefure the refulated style variables take care from 9 lb hammer Oklahoma Dx1

Crazy how you can use a relay 30-40 years in the old amps and its really hit or miss if you get good ones or bad ones. And you really don't know sometimes. You can cook them with solder but I believe you just got some bad relays. Every switch I have bought hasn't held up long on other electronics and finally get a decent one out of 2-4

My new amp works perfectly and gives me the numbers I wanted. The fan control allows me to have the amp turned on without the fan noise, as the amp warms up the fan goes faster eventually running at full speed As the amp cools down the fan slows down when fully cool . I did this because fan noise bugs me. Thank you for building this nice amplifier.

It's all about knowing and experimenting. Seems I keep finding stuff damaged or something added on top everything else but im doing ok. It gets overwhelming all directions at once. Water and power and started putting things back together. I didn't need a main water leak but I got through it.

The biggest thing I've learned lately on the small transformers espec input. The smaller the wire makes tighter coupling and better tune.

No one is perfect. I can always pick something out even on my own builds. I look back said I could should done this. I try remember to correct it next time. There are many ways to get to the same end result. Good Video!

Limp mode is the term when the check lamp is on and the motor is running off a pre set default map. Closed loop is system normal. Sounds like your saying loop mode. Pardon if I Heard you wrong.

You probably already know if the heater core is leaking the cooling system may not maintain the pressure required to prevent the coolant boiling/overheating.
