Some parts of this video made me uncomfortable.

I saw a video you made a while back when my mother was suffering through cancer and it was encouraging. I am happy for you and pray that you have the kind of peace that only comes from Jesus! John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” I am going to pray for you right now.

This was the post I wrote...Copy & Paste if you need to: WARNING PERSONAL ASS POST: To be honest, Ive been putting this off for quite some time. Especially because I know if I have to explain this fully it’d be one of those lengthy ass paragraphs you scroll past then scroll back up and attempt to skim to find out if this is a rant on some hot new political topic or some overshare of personal details. It can really only be one of the two. This post is a personal one, mainly because I’m tired of one-on-one explaining to everyone that I have cancer, bam there I said it. February 24th of this year I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer. If you’ve made it this far in reading I’m very impressed and consider yourself cool. So if you’re curious on how I found out, on the base of my neck there was this hard painless lump. No it’s not an Adam’s apple but an enlarged lymph node/tumour so I thought I should probs get it checked out. Thus began the medical escapade of ultra sounds, countless blood work tests, three CT scans, three biopsies, 1 PET scan and a partridge in a pear tree. The PET scan showed that the cancer is in my throat and chest and possibly in my groin so I could be anywhere from a stage 1 to a stage 3. I start chemo this Wednesday April 19th before I even know what stage I am or how many months of chemo I’ll have to do. If i’ll need surgery or radiation. If life was perfect I would have already known my staging before getting thrown into chemo treatment and if life was really perfect I wouldn’t have this shitty diagnosis but i guess we cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails So if you’ve made it this far, you’re a champ. So chemo is 4 hours long and what would be cool is if people post songs I could check out while I’m sitting in a chair getting pumped full of poison. There is no judgement I like all music even if its sad and I can tolerate country music kind of, but yeah I just wanna expand my music taste because its getting old. I also want to thank everyone for the wonderful support and positive energy even the most simple gestures have gone a long way and are cherished. I still find myself laughing about the inevitable outcomes that life brings. So Thank You.

Similar situation to me a few weeks ago, four and half years since finishing treatment and thankfully everything was fine. The anxiety and stress never stops and I still feel uneasy about being “fine” even though I know others would love to hear those words. Sending you so much love 💜💜
