Great video! When you mentioned the breaking point coming into that big hill, there's a dirt patch on the right hand side, I brake just before there :)

Just found you and i am a noob in sim racing . I am a noob and trying to learn so this was a great video . I managed to do a 1.38,01 best time in the 2 days i have been playing but i am not very consistent as i struggle to run the same pace . Most of the times i try different lines and i average 1.39,5 but saw a few things there where i am mistaking now . Thank you very much and keep it up champ !

Found your channel because of the fixed ferrari in Spa guide, already watched it like 10 times to get every info right. Time went from 2:21.5 to 2:19.2. But I will get it to 2:18.5! Thanks a lot. 😃

*2.17.846* is RAPID.. Im going down to 2cd in a LOT of spots where your staying in 3rd.. Im just having a hard time getting the rotation. Im noticing that my TC is locked at 4 and yours is at 8.. I moved my TC Controls in CNTROL TAB in pits, but it doesn't seem to be lettingme move it. I am able to move my Break Bias. I can back that up to try to get more rotation.

Hi my Ferrari 296 gt3 is not working when i go into a sim it always says that there is an error i dont know how to fix it hope you can help me

There may be an update for it. The ui along the top banner there should be an update button, then you select the items you want to update, in your case the 296, then press update. This is the only thing I can think of. Hope it helps

@@Fennefar That's great progress, some tracks take longer to gain time at due to the nature of the corners etc. takes a while for most people to get to grips with a new track so don't be worried if you don't understand a track straight away. 👍

Ah, 6th for raidillon. 5th gear is doable but the lack of resistance in the gearing makes it really unstable

man, i've been learning this car and this exact track for3 days, i didnt even jump into a race just to get a clean consistent lap, but i didnt make any progress at all 😩this car and track really makes me wanna quit iracing

Pace will come with time, try to learn things one at a time and only focus on that, trying lots of new things at the same time is too much and you will make progress much slower. Pace takes a long time to build up, it’s doesn’t happen overnight, you just have to keep at it.

I’m getting a lots of understeer in the faster corners. Any tips on how to manage this? Lift/brake as you turn in? Or do you lift/brake first in a straight line and then turn in?

If you’re getting understeer, lifting earlier should help and also being smoother with the turn in, gradually loading the tire by turning into the corner slower can also help

Pretty good. I don't think the boost has helped you that much though. My optimal lap without boost is 5:28

Too aggressive on the part of the blue car. It looks like he's one of those "Bump till he spins" guys. I hate these guys. They aren't good enough to do a clean overtake, or skilled enough to defend successfully.

Thx. That was very clear. I think my problem was I tend to lug the car around in a higher gear and rely on early braking which feels good sometimes, but I’m essentially overdriving the car. I got down to 1:34:008, but I definitely see a lot of time I can clip off.

@@unknowndriver8664 We’ve been In esports for a while but under different banners. I partnered with Brabham, rocket simsport etc. we are now under world of racing x JSM Motorsport. It’s a company I am partnered with and my own. Team is not typical team. It was started on the basis of mentorship. Trying to help people be great outside of sim racing but using sim racing as a base to understand skill sets and how to use them elsewhere. we have a 3 sim centers in Us will have 5 by end of year hopefully 50 in 5 years. Goal as a whole is to just keep introducing more and more people to sim racing from a competitive but fun side.

Excellent guide as always ! I return on the game after 8 months w/o playing it, with the 911 992 GT3 R, i'm struggling a lot with that chicace, i lose a lot of time :( Edit the same day : OH WOW !! After a few practice !! i improved a lot, especially on the chicane and the third corner !! This video contains more information compared to the last year video with the Porsche 911 992, thx m8 !

doing 250 laps of time trials on this track in a fixed setup. I'm on 200/250 in the past 5 days and my pb is a 2:21.4xx, I have 0 clue how people are getting so much lower. I know some places that I can improve to about a 2:21.2xx if I get a good lap but that's about it so far. good video!

@@Jmody13 I'm with you. I race Laguna Seca in top splits 1:37s bought Spa, ran this track for a week straight, I can't break 2:21.143 lol. Has to be MX5 vs Ferrari. Thats where the answer lies. I've developed such feel for the mx5, that took a LONG time. I'm gonna hace to get there with the Ferrari 296.

This Video has really helped alot. Though i struggle alot and i have no idea why?. The fastest i have gotten is a 2 minutes and 5. I have practiced doing as you do in the video for around 3-4 hours aday everyday for the past 4 days. I watch the video over and over again and again and i am around an entire second slower every sector do you have any idea what i could be doing wrong?
