I just got the x9’s made up 5 took three out to shoot and it was not good. The first two flew ok then the third flew funny and was louder. Came back to shoot again and realized the last one had flew funny because the nock broke on the shot thank god the string held onto enough nock it didn’t dry fire. Also we noticed the .300 spine felt very different while flex testing some were quite a bit stiffer then others.

I am just getting into archery and bow hunting and stumbled across your page. I have been researching a bow to buy and your video review on the Infinite 305 has been helpful in looking at things I want on a first bow. I have been influenced by a few people, but I have mostly been inspired by a previous mentor of mine at my church as well as my father-in-law. I am excited to join in on your page!

Yes it is. But I think as your string stretches, it gets a little more boricado you just need to take it in to add a few twists

Hey man, started watching the channel when you did the review of the Sanlida Dragon 10 arrows. I have only been deer hunting 1 season (bow only) and hunting in total 2 years, as a 30-something year old man! I was raised in a suburban home with no major opportunities to explore the outdoors or hunt. When I married my wife, I quickly found out her family are ALL hunters. At first, I was not interested in hunting, but as I got to know her family more, the more and more I wanted to see what it was all about. Now, I am obsessed! So, I always tell people: "It's my wifes fault!". Like you, my kids mean everything and I hope that by teaching them as I teach myself, I give them valuable life lessons and experiences. So, long story short of saying in hunting, I look up to my wife's side of the family in high regard.

Found your channel. Love the content. Congrats on the growth, and cant wait to see more. The person who inspired me to be outdoors was my bestfriend. Moving out to the forest of AZ for college from Los Angeles really opened up our eyes and he was the first one to get a bow into my hands. Since 2017, we were always outside off random trails in the forest and trying to shoot some arrows!

I got a box of these with the pin nocks earlier this year. The nocks did not survive a single shot, but the arrows are otherwise great.

One significantly better thing to fill it with is old clothes/towels. They will not shred into tiny parts and if at come point the target is too used, remove the clothes from bag, put in new bag. Compress. Done.

Targets like this are also a great way of getting use out of what most people would consider trash. I have an inexpensive target I've been shooting for a few years now. The center is very worn out and hardly holds any arrows. One idea I've had to "repair" it is putting clothes in the hole (foam target) and possibly layering more old clothes on the faces. Of course, everything would be wrapped up in duct tape

Hmmm, I usually just buy WalMart arrows to practice with until right before hunting season starts. When I can shoot them consistently...it's easy to shoot my VAP Elites. But I might give these a shot (pun intended...ha ha).

My grandfather is the one who inspired me to get into archery. My first bow was/is a handmedown something or another from my uncle that shouldn't be shot anymore but it's been a tried and true bow for me. You honestly have to aim about two inches high and an inch and half right to be able to hit your target. I know it sounds janky but it works and one day i'll be able to upgrade, just not now..... good luck on your journey and i can't wait to see more videos this year!

I just recently started hunting about 3 years ago, inspired by a coworker/friend. My family never hunted or show me any woodsmanship skills. It also brought closer with my religious belief, and closer to nature/wildlife in itself. I have a pretty good starter bow, but I’d like to introduce another person into hunting and gift them a bow. I have a couple people in mind(wife’s cousin or a close friend). I appreciate your videos and how well your journey tells people life is hard, but very rewarding and loving.

My dad got me into hunting when I was 16. Long story short, but life got a little busy for me, and I grew away from hunting/ having time to hunt. I’m 29 now, and I have been itching to get back out into the woods, both in archery and rifle seasons. I’m not commenting to enter the giveaway, I just wanted to share my testimony. I am thinking of going with the Bear Alaskan XT myself, I think that is a good starter bow as well, just a little more costly that this bow. I hope this bow giveaway finds someone that will appreciate this bow, and someone that will use this bow to get into archery. I am grateful for finding your channel this morning, and I can’t wait for more videos to come. God bless!

I bought a bow from my local shop, it was this, except they charged me more money and striped it of a few accessories…..but that’s alright because it was “on sale” and marked down from $550 to $450 💀 Really gave me a bad taste in my mouth about some bow techs and shops. Took a year before I found one that was relatively trustworthy. Other than bs bow technicians and getting ripped off a little, the bow itself is something that I have no complaints about. Luckily KZbin exist where you can find people who will give it to you straight exist.

That’s not a great shot. It’s in the guts of the animal. Tight behind the shoulders is the pumps station containing the heart and lungs. The heart is actually low straight up the leg in a broadside shot such as this. Your height on the shot isn’t bad, but if the animal ducks, you’ll miss or hit it very high. Aim for lower 1/3 if hunting. These 3 D targets can create bad aiming habits. Sorry for the book.

I just bought my first ever compound bow a month ago. I’m here because I’m a beginner and I love the journey you are sharing. Coming from the rifle world, I wanted to learn the bow. I love the method behind shooting and understanding it. The feel when the arrow is released and the impact. My good friend (who is a pastor) brought out his bow when I took him out shooting (handguns). He had always been a good friend who has helped my family when we left a bad and toxic cult. That day of shooting was a way to solidify my family’s journey toward freedom. Funny how that event got me into Bows. 😊

I am on a similar path. I got started hunting four years ago after seeing the show Meateater. I am still learning hunting but last year I found Dan Staton from Elkshape and I went down an archery rabbit hole. Got my first bow a Mission swtch. My daughter wanted to join me so I saved up and got her a Diamond edge and just sharing this journey with her is amazing and now I am saving up to get another bow for my wife and our son who is wanting to do archery as well. I believe the confidence from archery comes from the amount of focus and work it takes to become better with the payoff being very visible after putting in the work. Great video.
