2500 calories in 7 miles? Where's the proof!
@TripleRS2024
@TripleRS2024 6 ай бұрын
The trick is... buy a stationary bike with desk for your recovery. 3500 a day is tough, and mostly unsustainable. I do at least 1500 to 2000 calories a day, and can do it everyday without injuries or energy loss. It's like a 1 1/2 to 2 hour run in the morning, some 30 to an hour of rope skipping, and strength training during the evening.

Nice riding!! I'm trying to work my way up there. Just started riding two months ago, went for first time to cheseboro, sheep corral area but this looks a bit tougher. A little more practice hopefully I'll get up there, simi is only 5 miles from my house.

So if I have a 160 fox and I wanted to upgrade to a the damper and travel do I need a grip 2 damper specific in travel and or do I buy the damper and just get a 170mm airshaft to do so?
@paoloc.6726
@paoloc.6726 Жыл бұрын
Smart question dude. I'm in the same boat...but in tons of supposed diy travel change videos, almost everybody forget about explaining that you need a new stem (air side) for your desired length....nevertheless you'll find specific explanation for travel limits in upgrades; for instance, can I go from a 150mm to a 170mm with the same fork? Not to mention that there's absolutely nothing about the damper side: if I replace the air stem with a shorter/longer one...is it susteinable that no adjustement is required on the damper side lenght??? Possibly nothing is required, but I'd like to know the explanation. Any helpful answer would be welcome!

I've ridden skyline a few times. I think what makes it black is that sketchy wood bridge towards the top. No margin for error. and just past bridge the trail has mostly been washed out plus exposure. Fortunately those two sections are only about 40 ft of trail. This trail does not get a lot of use so very little traffic.

Is this still working for you?? I’m wondering about how it stays secure? Did you bolt it to the truck bed? What keeps it from a strong wind blowing the whole rack up and off?
@RobotVoice99
@RobotVoice99 5 ай бұрын
I think you would want to strap down the wood to the truck as well. Otherwise a strong updraft could cause some issues.

Made a mistake by opening up the fill hole and then started draining it. The pressure will make your fluid splash everywhere because of that control arm that’s in front of the drain. Careful guys.

good vid, thanks for sharing. I have the same crank on a trek procaliber 9.8. easy removal and install once you understand the sequence. You (removed and) greased the bearing tension ring on the non-drive side. I couldn't find any movement in the axle after reinstalling, but I think the sequence would be: installing non-drive & drive side, 40Nm connecting them and AFTER THIS checking if the tension ring needs adjusting?

@Simon-qb5di
@Simon-qb5di 2 жыл бұрын
@@Jacob99174 I’m happy with the crank. Found no issues like the cracked crank you described and I’ve been putting it to the test with some heavy landings 😎. The (factory installed) e*thirteen pressfit bottom bracket however lasted less than a 1000 miles. It’s really light, but any BB should be good for at least 2000/3000 miles IMHO.
@gbner9991
@gbner9991 Жыл бұрын
@@Simon-qb5di what BB did you replace it with? same one again? I also got the 9.8 and read too many reports on broken BB's :( also did you use the original e-thirteen tool?
@Simon-qb5di
@Simon-qb5di Жыл бұрын
@@gbner9991 I’ve had it replaced with an identical e13 one. It’s my only bike with press-fit so no tools to do it myself. Since then no problems yet, but have been riding a lot more trail style and the “new” BB has made 500-600k max so can’t say if the first one was the rule or the exception. Side note on the Trek procaliber frame: The inside of the frame is finished pretty sloppy. I was unable to route a dropper post cable by the BB due to ridges and lips on the sharp bend from downtube to seat tube (so abandoned the effort). If you ever consider placing a dropper post I would advise to combine routing the inner cable when the BB is out! Save a lot of headache 🤯
