Hi, yes. Mudgaurds, lights and a good wheel / bike wash after to get rid of the salt brine water solution councils are using these days as it's more effective and saves ££.. Just because there is no salt grit visable riders think there is no salt!

No clue why these guys are letting a gap open on the back every time. Roll into the line smoothly about the time the last man’s shoulder goes by you.

It would be very interesting to have a psychologist discuss the mind of a dedicated cyclist, (I am one).

Can I ask why the lead rider moves out to the right to let the group through. That's ok on a track/velodrome but on a road we do the other way the group pass the lead rider as you would to overtake and the lead rider drops to the back on the left: seems odd that on a road the lead rider moves out onto the right. The riders behind him would probably have more chance of knowing what's coming up behind them and know when it's safer to go bye?

Hi Steven, Thx for your question. We rotate in different directions depending on the wind direction. For example, we rotate clock-wise when the wing direction is from the "RHS". This could be a x head, direct fr RHS or x tail wind. We rotate ant-clockwise when the wind is from the "LHS". Summary- Riders on the "windward" line should use less watts as they are more exposed to the wind, plus they can rest the HR slightly as they drift to the back. Riders on the "protected" line can in theory use the same watts but move up the line easier. It's important a rider at the front to ease off the watts as soon as possible to help the next rider. My next video (No11) will address this better visually.

Hi, Yes, we are lucky to have this (old) trunk road that mainly local traffic use as M62 (runs parallel )now takes most traffic. It's wide (great for chaingang rotations), relatively safe, surface not bad, runs east to west usually into a headwind on our outward leg and of course a tailwind back. National 10mT Champs was held on it last year!

Continued...Above comment was Stage 1 section. Stage 2 runs north to south so we get cross more Xwinds.

Hi Alister, I guess i,m looking for perfection! Rear cam hisses like mad, would be better to pick up more natural ambient noise and rider convos. Whereby I eventually start a gopro7 upfront I can maybe put the gopro3+ as rear cam!

Re-Sound: Hi, Yes, sound is terrible on the rear (bullet cam). The front GoPro (hero3+) of 10 yrs vintage isn’t much better and no stabilisation on either cams. Need to upgrade everything to at least 2018 spec at least!

And not a disc brake in site 😀. Pity about the rear hissing on the footage. Great work 👏 stay safe
