They never went further into what made Sam B and 4 others went "feral" when their yacht made land contact or that the "virus" here has dick to do with Banoi's strain. Like what the hell was that with not-Eli Vance pulling the "Doomsday Gene Clock" from his arse?

A lot of people didn't really remember the story of Dead island or care about it, but the whole doomsday plot with the infection was so much worse and broke what made the first game actually interesting imo. Dont get me wrong, the older games aren't the best, but the whole tone and style was completely different then what they went with here lol, wasn't a fan at all
