is it wise developmentally to get 5 year olds to play on adult hoops? wouldn't their form be affected when they try to heave the ball up?

Maybe for some kids but for our kid - he was getting it close to the rim early at age 3 or 4 so we challenge him and made it his norm for the beginning. It benefited him greatly. Now he's shooting and making it effortlessly from NBA range without compromising his form.
