I have known Shivam Bhai for quite some time. He is the elder brother of my best friend.He is incredibly kind, well spoken, and knowledgeable about a wide range of topics, including technology, religion, spirituality, societal issues affecting both the rich and the poor, as well as our culture, politics, and system. He always has fascinating topics to discuss. I have learned so much from him simply by observing his actions and being in his presence. I wish him immense success and hope he continues to grow, touching as many hearts as possible. I also hope he can reach out to more people, especially those who truly need his guidance in this day and age.

"Mahim Junction: The Play That Changed Everything" Once upon a time, back in 2012, I stumbled upon an opportunity of a lifetime-being part of a play titled "Mahim Junction" by the brilliant Sohaila Kapur. Little did I know, this wasn’t just any play; it was about to become a turning point in my life. I was cast as Johny the Drunk, a Christian character with a knack for solving problems, even though he’s perpetually drunk. But Johny wasn’t just any drunk-he was sharp, intelligent, and surprisingly reliable. In the bustling chaos of the platform family living near a slum, Johny was the go-to guy, always helping everyone with their small but significant issues. And let me not forget-his favorite drink? The legendary VAT69! At first, I was thrilled about the role, but then reality struck. Johny spoke English fluently, and my own English skills? Let’s just say they weren’t ready for prime time. I panicked, got nervous, and even thought of quitting. I remember calling my co-artist, Jyotsna, and sharing my doubts with her. She was amazing-she calmed me down and encouraged me to embrace the challenge. Thanks to her, I decided to stick it out, and honestly? It turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. But here’s the kicker: this journey didn’t start on its own. It was Neeraj who "invented" me-he saw potential in me and introduced me to Sohaila ji. That introduction changed everything. Sohaila ji believed in me and gave me this once-in-a-lifetime role. Through Mahim Junction and Johny the Drunk, I not only discovered a deeper passion for acting but also sharpened my English-thank you, Johny and VAT69! Fast forward to today, and I’m still reaping the rewards of this incredible journey. Recently, I had the privilege of working on a project with the renowned director Shoojit Sircar. They were searching for a Dada-like character from Kashmir, but somehow, they found that character in me. What a proud moment that was! But let’s rewind back to MJ, because that’s where it all began. This play wasn’t just a chapter in my acting journey-it was a cornerstone. It turned my childhood love for acting into a full-fledged passion and helped me grow into the actor I am today. So here’s my heartfelt thank you to Sohaila ji, Neeraj, and Jyotsna. Without you, there wouldn’t be a Johny the Drunk, and without Johny, there wouldn’t be me-the actor I’ve become. Cheers to Mahim Junction, and of course, a toast (with Johny’s favorite VAT69, perhaps) to all the incredible people who believed in me!

Be careful, you need to communicate it, otherwise it'll look like silent treatment. You should only take breaks when you get flooded emotionally. Flooding is the inability to resolve a conflict because you're overwhelmed with emotions. But it's a good tip if you know what you're doing
@innerhabit3 ай бұрын
You should communicate it. But take a break - even 5-10 minutes can assist with regulating emotions. That emotional regulation is required from both ends not only your side

That's a common saying, or piece of advice. Very hard not to have fear. I find it hard to do things I'm fearful of, but the growth happens when you move out of the comfort zone. 😊 The scary part is taking that first step outside of it. 😁 I'm in my low 50s 😂 and I still struggle with this. 😊

What if it takes 2 minutes or less but not important?
@innerhabit4 ай бұрын
The Two-Minute Rule is a great way to tackle small tasks quickly, but it’s important to consider the significance of each task. If a task takes two minutes or less but isn't important, you have a couple of options - You can choose to skip it altogether if it doesn't contribute to your goals, or delegate it to someone else if it's appropriate. The goal is to prioritise your time effectively, focusing on tasks that truly matter. This approach helps you stay productive and ensures that your energy is spent on activities that align with your priorities.
