whats the average lap times for the championship?

On a dry track high 58 to low 59 for juniors. Can vary from kart to kart though as they are not always equal. Wet conditions variable as they still use slick tyres. Hope this helps 😊

They run a race school at various times throughout the year which you can do to qualify for the championship. It’s a full day and if lap times are good enough you will be invited to take part in the current championship. Cadets 8-11 years old and juniors 12-15 years old from memory. All the details are available on the Daytona website 👍🏼

@@netflixisbetter they will let you know what times you need to qualify for the championship but it’s a few seconds slower than that. 58/59 are what the front runners are doing though it varies from round to round depending on weather. They run A and B finals each round so it allows for better development and keeps the racing competitive for all.

Hi Lewis/Adam, It's Yousuf (the series commentator). I had heard there was an unfortunate altercation after this race so I was keen to see the incident that had led to it. This was a wonderful battle between two quick youngsters who both had their elbows out, as they rightly should. I wish more of the inkart battles would be like this, rather than the procession I usually see, because kids are too scared to go for an overtake. The only move that probably went a bit too far, was Lewis's move on Kimi early on. I will also say, as this is something that frustrates me from a lot of youngsters, was the hand up from Lewis after Noah's overtake. Noah made a great move after Lewis didn't completely defend the inside. Too many kids are putting their hands up the second they get overtaken, thinking that the other driver should get a penalty. And a lot of parents, unfortunately, then agree with them instantly and tell them how bad another driver is, which fuels more of the same attitude. Please do not do this and tell Lewis this was a good move from Noah so they can continue racing hard, but with respect. On another note, Lewis probably has about half a second to a second a lap he can gain. He is very eager to carry too much speed into corners and loses it all on exit, particularly through the hairpin at ten (and a bit in the final corner). These karts don't have much power, so being smooth and maximising your 'minimum speed' through a corner is essential. Lewis should also try taking turn 2 flat. It's scary, but it's doable in the larger N35 karts, so it can definitely be done in these. You just have to hit the sweet spot on turn in and at the apex.

And a final point. When Lewis wants to make an overtake into the hairpin at 10, he should stay tucked in behind the kart in front for longer. Currently he is pulling to the outside midway through turn 9, so he falls back by nearly a kart length, which makes the dive a lot harder. If he pushes the kart in front through 9 and then brakes late from the outside of the circuit (while pointing towards the inside), he will pull of these moves a lot more effectively

No mate actually from Nottingham near city centre. Was down there meeting all the other guys to take them to hooters. As for my mate he is into bikes. I was going to edit him out of the video but left him in to show him up for his foolish comments
