It is not clear what you mean by "gear connected to rod", but I guess you might be referring to the TDS (Top Drive System). Could you explain more in order for me to help you better? You may paste a related link as well.

All the contents (including the animation) are completely produced from scratch with the objective of producing an intensive information in very concise manner by using the power of 3D animation and illustrations. I am very pleased to know that they fulfilled their objective.
