Tuesday home games has the $1 hot dog promotion. I'd pay to go to that. I suppose some people would pay to go see a good team play baseball and beat the Blue Jays.

2 main reasons that are a tad contradictory when taken together: 1) There's a lot of game-to-game variability built into baseball. Even struggling teams have their moments and hot streaks that come seemingly out of nowhere. There's no game in the entire MLB schedule that the underdog doesn't have a realistic chance of winning. 2) Part of being a sports fan is commiserating and ranting with your fellow fans during down times. This is hardly a recipe for record-breaking attendance, but it still manages to keep some eyeballs on the game as long as things aren't _ridiculously_ bad (see: White Sox).
