Do any D&B handbags have black “made in the AUX Philippines” inside?

I saw your first video that you did 6 yrs ago about your John Romain Handbags. You wanted to know about the numbering system inside the bags under the name. I see you never got an answer. First a little history about John Romain LLC. He started the company in 1960 in Staten Island, NY and retired and closed the business in 1996. He died 7/2013 at 86. He had 2 sons, Thomas and Marco. Marco became the 3rd generation bag maker. He had the Marcolino collection by John Romaine and added the e to Romain. Now that you have the history, lets talk about the numbering system. Your bag, I believe has 10-5, which is the 10th collection and the 5th bag made. My bag is 7-12. My doctor's bag is 9-68. What makes it vintage is the Lion! If you have the lion in the vhe crest it is made in the 60's. Just the lion above his name is the 70s and no lion above his name is 80's. When the son took over, the bags had John Romaine on the front right hand corner. Now you can truly enjoy your bags. Thank you for the video! One last John Romain, bag maker's real is Roman Luksberg

I see you have never gotten an answer about the number on your John Romain hand. Normally the numbers are the month and year the collection was made, you have bags like I have that have the month and then a number.

Thanks for the video! 😍 There’s nothing like a vintage Dooney. Some of the new ones look fake compared to them. 😂 Even the canvas and vachetta Louis cannot last. They are the most busted up bags I’ve ever seen on the resale market. I first became obsessed in the early ‘90s when I was in 8th grade. My cousin got one and I had to get one too. Mine was fake though. I didn’t know any better back then. Now I have real ones and my most favorite bags are the vintage. Have you purchased anything from the AWL 3.0 collection? They’re a pretty penny but don’t even have feet like the originals. Have a blessed day! ❤️

"You can not kill a Dooney" - NO truer words spoken! Loving the chill vibe of your video. I feel like I'm listening to a good friend and sipping a glass if wine. 🤣👍👜 trading good advice. It's funny to say, but the leather looks different. Those weird wrinkles don't belong. Fake Dooneys make duckies sad, very sad. Zipper fob is often missing letters and glue is easily found by lifting side of the leather especially by the zipper. Now, a true vintage treasure? Finding an old school Dooney from their early days and doesn't have the little numbered number. I've got a Coach (deepest rich smooth leather doctor's bag) and D&B (darker baby pink doc satchel!) from good old days - still look great in '22 but I don't even want to carry my precious ageless grannies around 😂. I've taken care of them, but honestly, they are crazy indestructible. I dud treat the green Coach with Dr. Martens shoe balm twice in 30 years. Unlike mink oil it doesn't change leather's feel (mink oil softens it).

Your biggest TellTale fake spot is the that flap of material along the inside where the zipper is attached ......they always secure that flap its never "Flapping" and just an FYI the zippers thy use are not metal nor are they plastic they are a material called Vislon its what they use on Life jackets.
