Ralf was such a good driver. He just did not have that killer instinct his brother had. And that big crash in Indianapolis really took his toll. He was never the same after that.

É, aquele SC na volta 12 matou a corrida e as estratégias. E nem para ter um embate entre o Hamilton e o Piquet foi possível porque um cidadão não parou durante o SC e ficou entre eles... triste.

Grande corrida do Hamilton largando tras e ultrapassando vários pilotos, parou cedo na volta 14, pegou mais tráfego e mesmo assim terminou em 2° mas... nem se compara a corrida perfeita do Piquet Jr. Pole, volta mais rápida e Vitória liderando todas as voltas, a corrida estava tão tranquila que ele conseguiu levar os pneus duros até a volta 21 e ainda voltou na liderança. Uma exibição realmente fantástica, 3° Vitória seguida o que levou a disputa do campeonato para a última corrida mesmo com a grande desvantagem nas corridas anteriores.

Interessante ver que os comentaristas falaram no começo que a temporada da pista não estava tão alta e o desgaste de pneus seria menor, aí o Piquet Jr. Vai lá e para na volta 6. Certamente esse foi o motivo de sua falta de ritmo no final da corrida, o que custou a ele um pódio. O pole parou na volta 10 e o Timo Glock parou na volta 12, ele ficou duas voltas a mais na pista e conseguiu vencer a corrida, incrível... Já o Lucas Di Grassi conseguiu ficar na pista até a volta 25... mesmo estando muito lento o pneu dele não estou, o que é comum nessa temporada da GP2, bem interessante. Coitado do Hamilton, depois de vencer as duas corridas em casa ele erra na primeira volta e tem a corrida prejudicada na França terminando sem pontuar, mas conseguiu se recuperar na sprint... Falando nisso, qua largada caótica na sprint, Piquet Jr. Teve problemas lá e mesmo assim conseguiu terminar no Pódio, incrível.

Yay! I'm so happy that there's been a bigger push to preserve the American coverage of legendary overseas motorsports events lately. Now if only there were a way Liberty Media would embrace seeing the ESPN, Speed, and NBC coverage of F1 get the same treatment and quit copyright claiming uploads of them.
