by this video i guess you and who voted dont understand a lot about daws lol if you cant use cubase doesnt mean isnt good... is the best! as logic too, and i never had bugs on logic, so you should think about your pc lol live is so poor, it crashes very often, FL is better but they are very good softwares, in fact they are both slaves, cubase and logic are master softwares, it should say a lot already... btw it means I could use both live and fl inside my cubase or logic project, but you cant do the opposite... power is power... kisses

I got CUBASE when I bought a DMK 25. But I have no idea how to use it. It looks complex. Music maker is easy to understand. Mostly. But I need something that actually supports my DMK. It works, but things are, off a bit.

I love studio one but I find fl studio to be the best program to start beat making and stuff from scratch....A lot of people might think of fl studio as a toy but the tb303 back in the 80s was seen in the same light and look at what it contributed to music after it was discovered to be an awesom bass synth...I think ableton is great for live performances offering a myriad of live featurs for set mixing...its totally beast for live performances...I would imagine a good producer dj would put their aces in their places and use the best daw for the job and application....

How do I get them into a playlist would I have to sit and single out one by one a track and add it to a playlist or is there a different way

I got into recording in the days of tape and no computers anywhere. I much later got back into record in digital world my first DAW was Logic when it was very expensive and came with half a shelf of printed manuals. I didn't stay on Logic long because I got a job doing post editing in a ProTools shop. I learned to love ProTools for doing editing, but I also learned to hate Avid. I left recording again, but returned again now that I'm retired and doing it for myself, I decided to be different and went with Ableton Live. Ableton is not easy (to me) to get started with but now I am starting to like it a lot. Ableton Live seems to cover a lot of bases so good for whatever workflow or live use your want to do. I am now thinking of getting back up to speed with Logic Pro as a 2nd DAW. Logic Pro is very inexpensive for what you get and does lend itself to people doing composing. For me my #1 is Ableton Live and it a #2 Logic Pro if I was the start working for $$$ again then #2 would be ProTools just because it is standard for doing TV and film work.

Now I have got the master deck on just one player unless I change it to the other which I know how to do. I just want to remove the master option from the decks. How do I do that? Thx

I use FL21 and I agree with the findings of this channel. It is a fantastic DAW. It does a lot of stuff. It's very powerful, but it is absolutely painful to learn.

I started on cakewalk and figured it out just fine and still use it, only problem is there isn’t a ton of recourse in learning it. I had to see how most things worked on other daws and apply it to cakewalk

Can I use it on both devices without having to format them differently or MS-DOS will do ? (The case is I travel a lot, the main database is in my window PC but i need to update my library on the go - with the Macbook ) Please help me, thanks a lot!!!

Logic looks gorgeous? Thats quite the comment because Logic software looks like garage band with a couple more functions. Studio one is the best and looks very sleek. And ive never even had a single glitch inside of it its the first DAW i give a perfect 10/10. This is the first time i have ever heard of FL studio ranking above any of these other daws. Thats a very cheap quality software and is considered to just be a mere toy in the industry. I am not sure where you are getting your information. But anyways, recently i hear of so many people from logic ableton and cubase been flocking to studio one urgently as people are learning out amazing it really is. With the release of 6.5 its a no-brainer.

I’ve noticed that people who are amazed and love Studio One tend to be Logic refugees. Everything that was shown in this video, in my opinion, is either the same or better in Live. The exception being the scratch pad, which is awesome-as is the arranger track, which Live also lacks. An example of something I think is better is the “tools” for manipulating clips. Ableton Live very clearly has kind of a top and bottom section that you can see, and what happens when you drag things around is very predictable and consistent.
