The Doise is so strange. The way he has a D taped over the N on The Noise's title makes it seem like he’s some random guy being an off-brand Noise, but the background makes it seem like he’s some weird inhuman alien fungus or something. What is he?

There’s a sense of inauthenticity to this song. It feels needlessly heroic and final in comparison to Peppino’s “bye bye there” which give off the feeling “look how much you accomplished”. This is also reflected in the level where in Peppino takes the bosses with him while Noise just kicks them to the curb to make himself look cool. We don’t even know why the Noise would want to take on the tower of pizza in the movie in comparison to Peppino who just wanted to save his restaurant.

This fight is so much more uncanny than Fakey. I was more unsettled by Fakey and appreciated all the other parts that made the fight so interesting, but this is just a weird copy that is literally just you with rocks. The background implies Doise is a hive mind spread from these weird roots. And he dies at the end of the level, and can only be revived with taunts just makes the fight even weirder. This music further settles the weird mood, it’s a weird cosmic like soundtrack with crying samples and weird breakcore tempos, but it still ends up being a good song.
