Found something like this in a thrift store. What kind of mallets are those? It didn’t come with any.

I really appreciate the honor that you put in for my work and my passion to strive for excellence and enjoy what I do. I didn’t ask for it, yet, you were so kind as to just create this in honor of the spirit that I put into my work. Please post this and use it to your own benefit and may I also ask for your permission to use your video? Again, thanks thanks 1 billion, it’s really beautifully done.

Fair enough, but I was quite stunned by the version of it by Seo Linn (also on You Tube)

@@jimlyon7276 Oh, yeah, Seo Linn's version is great, but my personal favorite is easily by Paul Brady and Iarla Ó Lionáird. So cinematic and more accurate to the actual theme of the song. (Actually, pretty similar to Seo Linn's.) My #2 favorite would probably be from Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones. 🙃 (Yeah...I love this song and have a whole playlist of OSDBB covers. 🤓 XD)

@@adventureswithaurora : Hi ! :) - Some context, I'm from North East Scotland, where my cultural background is Ga-lick so my musical tastes are THE Corries & Ps & Ds, etc :) Whereas your background is Gay-lick & slightly different. When it comes to Irish culture I'm still a "newbie" on a learning curve! So pls bear with me ? :)

@@jimlyon7276 Actually, Gàidhlig is more my culture! 😄 I am currently learning Gàidhlig (Scottish Gaelic) and have a 700-song playlist of just puirt-à-beul (Scottish mouth music), and my Scottish song playlist is several hundred songs bigger than my Irish. 😆 I just love both cultures dearly! Also, yes, the Corries are amazing! 🤩 It's always great to meet a fellow Celtic music lover. 😁
