It's a term used to describe when predator fish such as bluefish are attacking smaller baitfish at the surface of the water , usually you see the baitfish spraying/ jumping at the top of the water to get away ..one of the best ways to catch fish in my opinion..a lot of fun

Have you noticed your line twisting? Every time I bring it out of the water it’s spinning like crazy. Added a split ring and a barrel swivel which helped but still annoying I have to add them to every hook
@Exploremorefishing

Yeah that does happen , kinda reminds me of how fishing a zoom fluke can twist the line , I like the barrel swivel idea , I'd probably just tie it up on the line tho , who knows we can experiment

@@Exploremorefishing any reason for the preference? me and a buddy were watching the video and have been trying to figure it out. Its a neat new concept to us
@Exploremorefishing
@Exploremorefishing 2 ай бұрын
Lol great question, so the best part about having a bailess reel is it prevents you from accidentally casting an expensive lure out and it flying into the ocean , sometimes the bail flips over accidentally and it causes your whole rig/ lure to snap off ...it's happened to me plenty of times 😀 one less mechanical issue to worry about, hope this makes sense
