Awesome video. A lot of people get too scientific or don’t explain enough but this is the real world way to fertilize corn. Thanks for the video!

Can you help?? I am growing watermelons for the first time and while I have some growing nicely,I noticed some watermelons turned black and died :( what do you think is the reason for that? Thanks for any help you can provide :)
@marktaylor1415 Жыл бұрын
They were not pollinated if they were really small and died like that. It happens just pull it off and throw in fire pile
@wendyreed937 Жыл бұрын
Aww. Thank you! I was worried it was some kind of pest. Should I trim the leaves so they can be pollinated better?

Nice watermelon patch. Do you know if watermelon can pollinate in 100 degree weather? I planted 7 plants a couple weeks ago and they're growing ok, but am worried I won't get anything.
@marktaylor1415 Жыл бұрын
If you have female and male flowers and bees it will pollinate. The bigger issue is if you'll have enough days before first frost for them to mature. Mine take almost 3 months to mature

How did your garden do last year? Any updates? It’s good to see a garden video in middle TN. I’m in Murfreesboro. Still learning.

Alright so I fish and I really wanna try jug fishing. Do you leave these to float and when they are bobbin you get em?? How do you set em up in the water?
@marktaylor14155 жыл бұрын
Sorry I didn't see your comment! But yea I'll go back in a cove and pay special attention to the wind you don't want it to blow the jugs straight to shore because they're hard to get to sometimes. I put them in the middle or closer to the direction the wind comes from so they drift a good ways. Then yea I have a spotlight and when they bob and start getting pulled you got a cat!
@aaronoutdoors75565 жыл бұрын
Yeah man night time jug fishing is the best. Using a spotlight to check your jugs. By the time you get one back in the water after taking a fish off you’ll have another one being pulled around. My dad used to let me do the light when I was a kid. Super fun.

Looks great. But ouch! Do not ever use OSB (Oriented Strand Board) in any watercraft. Oh, and to "save your bacon", the light you showed is a bow light, goes up front. White lights are for the stern. From a fellow scrimper, well done!
