You're referring to the Trolley Problem. This case is more a philosophical construct than reality. In 30'000 accidents, a study found no similar moral dilemma like that. Anyways, if that dilemma occurred and a human would have time to make that decision, the solution would be simply: braking hard.

Just a heads up the ps5 is manufactured in both China and Japan so controllers from the two manufacturers are gonna be slightly different but mainly the same like my Chinese one is heavier in the grip but my Japanese ones weight is in the middle but overall feel roughly the same weight if u hold them from the middle. It feels so much lighter tho when u hold it by the grips I think it's due to bigger motors maybe in the one the came with my console (the Chinese one) but not sure. Side note no control I've ever bought ever matched up in build quality to the ones that came with the console.

Emergency braking systems cause so many wrecks, let alone self driving systems. Commercial planes have a lot of auto pilot systems but look how many crashes have those system have caused. They have killed a lot of lives. An airplane at 39,000 feet, if it is off by 50 feet it makes little difference, but a vehicle on the road off by 50 feet isn't going to work so well. My GPS in my vehicle, many times when it gets into a construction zone it completely gives up and says "I can't go there. Give me a new destination." No one should ever completely rely on GPS. It will get you into trouble.

I wouldn't pay for these features, no need for those where I live.

I came here out of curiosity to understand the level of lies and dramatization I knew would be here after seeing the title before blocking this site for the rest of my life. In the first 5 years there were 13 fatalities with auto-pilot vehicles involved vs about 39,000 per YEAR with human drivers. This does not tell the story well as there were far fewer auto pilot cars so I checked with average miles driven for each fatality. In the first 5 years of this technology being used the miles driven between fatalities was almost double that of human drivers. People are HORRIBLE. Look at the facts as no one cares what your warped, worthless mind wants to believe. Goodbye forever. Edit: (The video was so bad I was not able to finish watching it.)

Of course self driving cars can kill you. Human driven cars can also kill you Boeing autopilot just crashed two 373-MAX killing hundreds of people. But it saves more lives than it kills, so we use it anyway. The right way of looking at this is <<Will Self Driving Cars kill more or less people than humans ?>> When the response is "less" then you are a fool NOT to use Self Driving Cars.

Choosing between Tesla's FSD and the average human is pretty much a no-brainer. I'll take FSD any day. While there will surely be accidents and fatalities involving FSD, what's relevant is whether the rate is higher or lower than with human drivers. I'll wager, just as Airbus and Boeing have done for decades, that computers do a better job of piloting vehicles than humans do. We need to get past the point of comparing FSD to perfection, and instead compare it to the real-world alternative. Based on this comparison, I suspect FSD is already the superior choice....and one that will only get even safer over time.
