I know they joked about the tension between the characters in an interview, but I honestly wish they became a couple at some point in the series. It would have been so wholesome.

Loved it. My favorite moment of the entire 3 series was when he said he needed Miller. The look on Tess's face said it all. Miller was the one he trusted over anyone else. She was the primary (grownup) woman in his life. Seriously there is no way the two characters did not get together. If only because they would never have let anyone else into their trust circle of two.

I never saw them as a romantic couple. They care for and understand each other absolutely but not romantically. She doesn't take any of his crap and I think he admires her for it.
