I just hiked Grandfather Trail and would definitely be very apprehensive about hiking this in the rain.

Hi Lara! It depends on the trail you take! The one we took in the video is the Alum Cave Trail and it is about 5 miles to the lodge which is the shorter route to the Lodge. Thank you for watching, we hope you enjoyed it!!😊

How do you transfer water from the osprey bladder to dog’s bowl while hiking?

Unfortunately the quickest way would be to pull the bladder out, open it and pour. You could try pinching the mouthpiece over the bowl but it would probably take a long time to get enough water out. Thanks for watching!

Well you just dig a hole in the sand and then cover it back up😅😂 When it comes to toilet paper you have to bag it up and bring it back out of the park to throw it away. So it’s best to always carry some thick Ziploc bags!
