Ms.Peggy is a Helluva Gal Your Sons, & Daughter had the Greatest Pard, Cowboy, Bronc Buster there ever was. Love & miss you Pard. I'm proud to have known you. I thank you for the kindness you showed my boys, they've never forgotten. Travis is riding Saddle-Bronc now. Because of you. If I'd Known that the last time we'd talked was gonna be the last time, I'd have stayed a little longer

"Joe had never seen the Milky Way" is probably one of the saddest lines I've heard. Most people no longer can see it and the majesty it presents. We truly are separating from nature.

This song blew my mind when I was a kid. It was quite possibly my favorite overall country song and then it just disappeared radio station stop playing it and I couldn’t find it anywhere. I bought the album hoping that this version would be on there but instead just the cut version was there. Today I just thought about it because I had a memory i’m listening to it and being stunned and here it is and after listening to it today I knew there was a reason why that song was special when I was a kid but I never got the entire chorus until today.

I'm from Germany, and please can someone explain to me what is meant by a "hard luck ace" ?? Thank you :-)
@madbrowniac7871
@madbrowniac7871 Жыл бұрын
A "Hard Luck Ace" is someone who prevails despite being besieged by immense trouble or tragedy. And the ultimate example can be found in German Musical History. Beethoven triumphed Musically even with His complete loss of hearing. And other problems that humbled Him romantically and personally. He was as the German translation goes a true "hard luck ace." Or a "Supermensch." And yes I know that's Yiddish!😂 I get around some.😂😏🇩🇪🎤🎹B.W.
