Thanks so much for watching! This was actually my Tactacam 5.0 POV cam I had mounted to that old wooden treestand step. Still very fortunate to have gotten that shot though!

Looks like an old tree stand at the 8 minute and 32 second mark. It's things like that that's been left behind for years that kinda makes me wonder who hunted it, what they saw, and if they got a giant. If that stand could talk i bet it'd have stories for days. Great video buddy.

The last 3-5 mins were the best...perfect. You walking along with your daughter and your wife shooting the video. Kudos to her for focusing as well on the blood trail it makes it so much more like we're walking with you.

I use Thompson Center 240 grain XTP hollow point sabots paired with 100 grains of Triple Seven. I've had very good luck with that setup.

And that's why I most certainly use 2F powder. Whatever powder that is would never touch my barrel.! Good shot though. Good thing it was close.

I'll have to check out & do some research on the 2F. My TC has always paired well with Triple Seven. Never had any issues yet. Most of my shots are 50 yards or less anyway. Appreciate you watching!

Why is it that fish get bigger the further south you go. But the animals especially deer get smaller the further south you go? Kinda weird, can't say the same about bears but they do get way less hunting pressure in N.C. as opposed to PA or Wv.. I dint add MD to the list cause there will probably never be a bruin shot here. A girl who used to ride my school bus just shot a 648lber. Just on the edge of being a bruin. But the problem is over population andyhat leads to small bears. But getting g back to deer. That's just the way it is.

That's a good observation. I'm sure there are a lot of factors such as food source, habitat, and climate that play a big part. I can definitely see over populations leading to smaller game, making it hard to compete for nutrition quality.

How long does it take to charge the battery pack??? Just bought a new 1 today and its been on charge for several hours and the red charging light is still on. Just wondering what the problem could be.

Initial charge does take a few hours. The light will go off once fully charged. They're definitely worth it! If you're in an open spot with direct sunlight, the solar charger is an excellent addition. Good luck to you this season!

How many pics are you getting out of a battery pack ,or how often do you have to swap battery packs ? (I'm trying to find out if it's worth buying 2 packs to swap like you did, thanks

After I shot this video, I got 4 weeks out of it. I had the camera on pic & video so it was using more battery than having it on just pic. I averaged about 65 pics/videos a day in this particular spot. If your camera is in an open spot (direct sunlight), a better option is using a solar panel with the battery pack. I set up a Reveal X-Pro about 3 months ago & have yet to change the battery pack. Hope this helps & good luck this season!

How long does the battery pack last when you have fresh minerals out in front of the cam

It's usually about 6 to 8 weeks during the growing season bc I mainly just have it on 1 pic setting. My current setup usually lasts 4 to 5 weeks. That's because I'm running pic + video this time of year, which drains battery life. My best setup is a Reveal X-Pro that has the lithium pack with a solar charger.
