I think I have been missing it. I was taught that I had to turn away from my sins first in order to receive Salvation and maybe I've been putting trust in that not just fully in Christ. You said we do only after we are convinced. Any advice?

Father gave me a waking vision of in the clouds, HE let me see how FEW have a relationship with Jesus. In the clouds it looked big enough for hundreds maybe thousands. That means MANY are "Christian" by name ONLY. Call out to Jesus before it's too late. Don't let pride lead you to the lake of fire.
