Forget about the app, just use the Zigbee remote control shown in this video! This video instruction is fine. I my case I first couldn't get it working, but it turned out that the supplied batteries were nearly empty. Just use Duracel AAA. Really stupid that Eglo included a pile of documents in about 30 languages, but this simple instruction to just hold the button for 10 seconds in order to pair the units was no where to be found. I guess heaps of users have been messing with the app, got frustrated and wasted their time.

this product is a complete fail. nothing is connecting. and even if it would, its way too complicated. and why is everything in french, instead of english if you sell internationally?! cant use the lamp with the remote at all. tried EVERYTHING, including the steps from eglo. and if you wanna use your smartphone, you have to wait like 10 to 30 seconds if you're already in the DARK room, until you can turn it on with your smartphone. wont buy anything from eglo again. way too pricy for this fail.

Buitengewoon gebruiksonvriendelijk systeem van Eglo. De reset werkt niet zoals hier is beschreven. De sensor knippert een paar keer binnen de eerste 5 seconden en daarna niet meer. De meegeleverde gebruiksaanwijzingen zijn veel te beperkt. Onduidelijk is of het via de app werkt of is geintegreerd in het, bij mij, bestaande Hue syteem van Phillips. Ik ben voor mijn schoonmoeder een simpel lampje van Eglo aan het koppelen met een sensor van Eglo. De klus zou binnen 15 minuten geklaard moeten zijn. Maar ik ben nu al drie dagen aan het klooien. Het wordt zo wel een peperduur systeem als ik de uren ga rekenen. Ik beveel dit product van deze firma beslist niet aan! Sterker nog ik beveel geen enkel product aan van deze firma, omdat ze spullen die niet of slecht werkent op de markt brengen is voor mij een teken dat dit een onbetrouwbaar bedrijf is die zijn klanten niet serieus neemt.

Ca ne fonctionne pas. J'ai ramené aujourd'hui la télécommande et l'ampoule achetées hier. Apres 15' passée à appuyer sur la télécommande, la vendeuse a décidé de changer la télécommande; apres 10' à appuyer sur le bouton de la télécommande elle est arrivée à pairer l'ampoule. Mais lorsque jai demandé à prendre une ampoule qui permet de choisir les couleurs, apres 20' à essayer elle a appelé un collègue, qui apres 10' est arrivé à pairer. Les vendeurs m'ont alors affirmé que je n'avais plus qu'à rentrer à la maison et brancher l'ampoule, car maintenant la télécommande est pairée. ... voilà 30' que j'essaie en vain de piloter l'ampoule via la télécommande .... ce produit est honteux .... à la hauteur du manuel d'utilisation qui spécifie que le bouton ON permet d'éteindre la lampe, et que le bouton OFF permet de l'allumer.

Can you use this method with led strip?

The remote is Zigbee, it works great.... but all the sensors are not really Zigbee, still using Bluetooth and very unreliable. The old system sucks, the new system is still a big failure without proper sensors. Maybe Eglo can send me their software, I can find the last bug. This is very not professional lighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily I still have 20 days to send this back.

Shit product, this sensor is not working at all. I have 5 sensors, which are switching the wrong light, no light or random lights... when I visit the toilet, the kitchen becomes blue. My wife also doesn't like this. This started in 2022 after a software update. Eglo only tells to replace the battery, big brands can get away with this nonsense.

Shit product... all lights in my house get dark blue and we don't like EGLO anymore. No matter what we do. every minute all lights change to blue. We spent 8000 euros on EGLO and get ZERO service from this horrible company in Breda.
