I hunted Cascade elk for about 5 years, in my experience the are more difficult than the coast range bulls and way more difficult than the east side. You have to be one dedicated individual to go after elk in the Cascades year after year.

Already got my Spring bear. Once the snow fell I found the tracks followed them for 3 hours and caught him in the road.

Look for super steep cliffs. With big grass tufts growing out of it. That's where the bears are. Wherever the flowers are growing.

Great video! Are all your shafts 400s? Having a tuff time with bareshaft tuning 200 gr. Practice tips n 100gr. Insert on a 400 Goldtip Trad arrow. Im thinking i might have to go w a 340. Ive tried a friends 500 and no go. Im shooting a Bear Grizzly 45# draw lenght is 27 draw back on bow is 26 at 29 inch arrows. I ordered 200 single bevel broad heads from grizzlystik. Hate to not use them but the times ticking on deer season. Lol. Any help is appreciated.

🤣😂🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣 I don’t own a 7 prc or 7 mag ,, but what I’ve noticed sence the 7 prc has came out is it’s making the 7 mag fanboys head explode,, it drives them mad,, they make videos after videos taking about the 7 mag will out perform the 7 prc, but and it’s a big but u got to get a special built 7 mag before it will,, and that takes thousands of dollars and 98% of hunters are average blue collar working men and women that buy guns from the major box stores and there local gun shops and can’t afford to have a special built gun,, I’m no gun smith but I’d say if you special built a 7 prc it would out perform the special built 7 mag,, just let it go 7 mag guys the 7 mag is a awesome caliber of the shelf stock gun , but the 7 prc is better in stock form of the shelf,, why can you all let it go you no you all look and act like whining ass liberals the way they act over trump, but you all do it over the 7 prc,, 🤣😂🤣🤣 but it is funny listening to some of you all trying to convince everyone the mag is better then the prc

Beautiful video. I grew up in Southern Oregon and just recently became more connected to the land through hunting. I’m going to be hunting elk this September with my bear bow. Great rig! I will one day have a Samurai for my hunt rig too. I like it for all the same reasons you’ve mentioned. It”s a great alternative to today’s modern UTV’s that cost 2~3 times as much and don’t have the same kind of character. It has plenty of room to put game in the back. I plan on taking out the back seat and rhino coating the entire floor. I’m looking forward to your series on the Samurai!
