I hunted Cascade elk for about 5 years, in my experience the are more difficult than the coast range bulls and way more difficult than the east side. You have to be one dedicated individual to go after elk in the Cascades year after year.

This is awesome. In the military we always say train as you fight. So we would set up scenario based training and work through the problem. This is exactly that. This method of training is awesome. Great video. Thank you!

You guys hand in trad bows?
@TheLifeOutdoorz22 күн бұрын
Nope, just had to fill the freezers first. We owe it to our families. We set out to feed our families first. With all the changes in elk hunting it's super hard to do that with the tradbow. Now that our freezers are full youlls see me with the longbow.

Why not just rifle hunt then? If you’re just out for meat?

Look for super steep cliffs. With big grass tufts growing out of it. That's where the bears are. Wherever the flowers are growing.

So what if you go in there and bugle around for half a day with no answers do you move onto the next area or you continue to hunt that one some some different way?
@joeyek2992 ай бұрын
What I mean is what if the bulls aren’t rutting and it’s too thick for spot and stalk hunting

We do, we move around until we find a bull that wants to play.

I have read that some states are talking about outlawing them since they are hooved and could spread germs to wild hoover thingys. Have you heard anything like that. I want to get into to, but that is in the back of my mind.
@TheLifeOutdoorz2 ай бұрын
Yes, this is a push, but I think it won't happen as we, are talking about a certification system, where we prove our animals are certified clean. The problem is the big commercial herds. With our small herds we are able to be disease free.

Love the sami and the videos man. Just one huge recommendation. Get some BFG km3s best tire I've ever ran. You'll quit spinning and go everywhere. They're not expensive, honestly phenomenonal tires, I haven't gotten stuck but like 2 times when it was my fault and I was trying to get stuck and that was a size issue even not a traction one lol. I guarantee you'll love them

Ive tried a friends 500 and no go. Im shooting a Bear Grizzly 45# draw lenght is 27 draw back on bow is 26 at 29 inch arrows. I ordered 200 single bevel broad heads from grizzlystik. Hate to not use them but the times ticking on deer season. Lol. Any help is appreciated.

🤣😂🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣 I don’t own a 7 prc or 7 mag ,, but what I’ve noticed sence the 7 prc has came out is it’s making the 7 mag fanboys head explode,, it drives them mad,, they make videos after videos taking about the 7 mag will out perform the 7 prc, but and it’s a big but u got to get a special built 7 mag before it will,, and that takes thousands of dollars and 98% of hunters are average blue collar working men and women that buy guns from the major box stores and there local gun shops and can’t afford to have a special built gun,, I’m no gun smith but I’d say if you special built a 7 prc it would out perform the special built 7 mag,, just let it go 7 mag guys the 7 mag is a awesome caliber of the shelf stock gun , but the 7 prc is better in stock form of the shelf,, why can you all let it go you no you all look and act like whining ass liberals the way they act over trump, but you all do it over the 7 prc,, 🤣😂🤣🤣 but it is funny listening to some of you all trying to convince everyone the mag is better then the prc

Great rig! I will one day have a Samurai for my hunt rig too. I like it for all the same reasons you’ve mentioned. It”s a great alternative to today’s modern UTV’s that cost 2~3 times as much and don’t have the same kind of character. It has plenty of room to put game in the back. I plan on taking out the back seat and rhino coating the entire floor. I’m looking forward to your series on the Samurai!
