I am visually impaired myself and I love Braille ! I'm studying to be a teacher for the visually impaired and I want to share the love with Braille with my students. I'm already a volunteer Braille teacher at my blind center with adults who are visually impaired and I think it's very important for them to practice their Braille and I give them practice homework after we 've done a lesson. Sometimes I'm a teacher. I like to refresh my knowledge by practicing my Braille everyday with writing and reading Braille either with my Braille writer or my slate and stylus.

He’s a good important skills to learn and things to talk about. I wish Arsenal is that they could break down unique videos on people with different types of conditions or people with multiple impairments. I wondered if if they could discuss for instance, executive functioning, and time and for someone was executive functioning With law vision and other impairments. I have anomalies from involving reading, math navigating typing short term working memory functioning, and most things issues how this skills apply to people have difficulties with skills skills because of deficits motor sensory planning motor coordination, and or the deficits and or sensory dexterity hand position And other developmental skill deficits decoding deficits planning for people with or auditory process or do coding deficits or for people with or mobility, orthopedic and impairments or other issues. We need a lot more videos independent school related to different to teach for people with non-vision with these other deficits. Research something such as congenital with Bella not everybody has the same affect depending on when they get it and what happens in the brain when they do get it some death some some have heart issues and some lose all vision and don’t I have lost all vision due to it but How do we plan for extra sections for extra topics videos on extra topics for special topics for people with multiple conditions and people with law of vision Harry Potter for something such as that question

I am thinking about how one could learn or teach quantum mechanics using Nemeth. Interestingly, it seems to overlap with some topics in linguistics in terms of immersive learning (from tactile to auditory and so forth).

I don't appear to have an edit menu. When I do alt + e on my keyboard I get a noise indicating that it didn't do anything. Can you only access the edit menu if you don't have a PDF open?

Hi there! If you press alt + e, hear a sound, and nothing happens, there is likely nothing that corresponds with that command currently onscreen. One way to check if an edit menu is showing is to press alt, then press the right arrow keys.

Great video. I’ve given it to people to help further explain because I have optic nerve, hypoplasia and epilepsy, and a handful of other things that come with the package deal. Also 17 years ago when diagnosed with epilepsy, it was my first neurologist who brought up these things with the pituitary gland of the hypothalamus and I was continuously searching back then and I thought why not take a stab at it again years later? Again great video.

I Love the slate and stylist. It is such a cool braille writing device! I use it everyday when I go to the gym or the library in my Braille book bag with a pair of sleep shades, braille paper, and a braille book. I have have received slight and stylus's from the nfb, American printing house for the Blind When I took braille through Hadley, and my mentor. I recommended the nfb free sleep and stylus program to my adult students. I'm teaching Braille to for them to practice their Braille.

Hello! I keep up-to-date with all your videos; and I say they are all wonderful. But my interest got particularly peaked by a four-video series that you did on different programming languages with Florian Beijers. That remains my personally favorite content thus far. However, that was meant to be a simple introduction intended to offer a sneak-peak into the complex world of programming. So, we'd be grateful if you could do a similar video rovidng a complete and comprehensive course for us, visually impaired programming-enthusiasts.

Can you make a math table using Nemeth math codes?
@AphOrg
@AphOrg 3 ай бұрын
Yes, you can make a math table using Nemeth! To start your table, go to Insert > Table to open the table editor. Anywhere you need math, type ASCII Math and apply “Math Translation” to it. To apply Math Translation, go to Translation > Math Translation inside the Table Editor or press Ctrl + M. The text must be highlighted in order to apply Math Translation to it. To learn more about ASCII Math, you can go to asciimath.org or by going to Math > ASCII Math Hub inside BrailleBlaster.

Bro how do you have a color case for a braille display I CANT SEE IT
@AphOrg
@AphOrg 4 ай бұрын
Hi there! In talking with teachers during development, we discovered this was important for students who are blind. This is for a couple reasons. 1) Even though you might be legally blind, or a braille reader, it doesn't mean you have no vision at all. You might be able to see colors. 2) Braille tech makes you stand out - your sighted peers don't have it. Having a way to make it your own is something that can help you connect with your peers instead of just making you feel different. Students can always get help from a parent or friend to match their case with their outfit for the day.

Hi there! The USB-A on the Chameleon 20 is an optional port for file transfer and additional storage. The device already has 16 GB of onboard storage, and a file transfer can also be done with a cable and the USB-C port. There's also an option to use an SD card for additional storage.
