I played Scopa first in a Nancy Drew game and decided to play it with actual cards. I have the same deck as you do, and I was a touch confused about the values of the face cards, so thanks clearing that up :)

Idk why this card is confusing. Literally just read the card. Why does it take over 9 and a half minutes to explain that if you read the card, you know what it does?

Advice though use a screw driver not a drill in the beginning till you become more familiar with a drill so you don’t damage any of the furniture
@tonyspina81
@tonyspina81 7 ай бұрын
Yes obviously you’ll damage furniture in the beginning if you have no experience with a drill or impact. I should have have mentioned that

I went and read on WOM as i had never heard of that particular card before( I really only know cards until Alliances expansion) and it does seem like a crazy card. Gambling your life away to draw cards!

In my experience, the lines are very bright indoors, with or without the room lights on.🙂 Outdoors, in full sunshine, you won't see much at a distance of (say) 15' or 20', but if you use the green target provided and put a shade or shield over it to block out the sun [a bent piece of cardboard about 18" across and 12" deep] , you can get enough of a view of the lines to work with confidence even at noon. The green lines have a sharper edge to them than the lines from a red laser, which to my eyes look a bit more 'fuzzy'. It's not a professional surveying tool, so it's not fair to expect professional results. And at least it doesn't have a 'professional' price tag. 😁 I bought one recently (I'm in the UK) for just £25; it works amazingly well, both indoors and out. I put up some fencing in broad daylight, using the cardboard shade idea, and it was fine. The little green target that's provided with the level makes things quite a bit clearer. Your results may vary, especially if you live somewhere with brilliant tropical sunshine; that's not something that we get here in wet, grey, gloomy England. Whatever. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. If you want really good levelling outdoors in very bright sunshine, you might find that a simple water-level (hosepipe with sight-glasses) provides all the accuracy you need.

Drills are for drilling. Electric screwdrivers are for driving screws. That drill is way overkill for what you need. Maybe a small impact would be better. One more tool I would put in the truck is a fold up table so you don't need the kneepads.
@tonyspina81
@tonyspina81 9 ай бұрын
You are absolutely right about the foldable table. I actually got one after making this video and use it all the time. much better than kneepads. As for the drill , it’s much better than an impact, which will damage Ikea furniture. I just forgot to state in the video that you must put it at a very low torque setting and you’re good to go.

Hello Denny. You need a tape measure in case you are building a Besta system that must go fixed to a wall. Thats also where you would need a laser or traditional level.

Loved mine when they worked. I bought two in the past few years and both just stopped working for no apparent reason after very little use, but after a considerable length of time. I didn't use them very often so the warranty, which is a pretty generous 3 year limited warranty (whatever that means), had run out. That being said these tools are so useful when working that I just bought another one that will probably do the same thing. I can't find any fault with the 18 volt batteries, except they are really expensive. They are powerful and last a long time.
