I hope these athletes enjoy having their spines surgically fused so they can even get out of bed when they retire.

Shazier using his helmet as a battering ram like that, is exactly what led to his spinal injury.

That Denver 6 on 3 penalty kill is incredible. There is no way they can cover everyone just stay low and try and block shots with your body

I can't believe people still believe this stuff is real. The WWF got to the point where they had no choice but to admit it was staged. The NFL is beyond that point.

I play Hockey, and like football, getting and getting knocked out can happen. One of the worst instances was when Max Pacioretty got hit by Boston Bruins defender Zdeno Chara, who by the way is SIX NINE TWO FIFTY, proceeded to hit Pacioretty. Pacioretty went flying and his head noggin first on to the stanchion on the side of the Canadiens bench. Pacioretty broke 3 vertebrae and a SERIOUS concussion and was out for the rest of the 2010 2011 season.

Living in a country where rugby league and Australian Rules are the major sports I'm used to people bragging about how the players don't have helmets and the hits are hard. Helmets are weapons and the players are missiles in NFL. All the rules are going to be changed because these concussions are just too much. What mother is going to let their kids play these sports.

3:15 - I watched this play 15 times just now and literally came every single time. Love to see it. The only thing that would make it better is if it was Rodgers taking the hit.

I don't know why they don't play on dirt. A little softer. If youve never been on a field. This goes for real turf. Its compacted sand with a bermuda grass cover. Hard as a parking lot.

I’m under the belief the NFL has gone too soft. BUT, I also believe that any form of intentional helmet to helmet should incur an ejection, 5 game suspension, and $100k fine.

It's a bit counterintuitive, but helmets make hits worse. Get rid of helmets, concussions will decline. Just look at rugby.
