If I adjust the bite point the complete lever reach screw is turning with it?
@lewisbikeofficial
@lewisbikeofficial 2 ай бұрын
Hi, it should not be like that. If you have that problem, hold the lever reach knob by fingers and turn the bite point screw to get a start. If that screw is too tight, please turn it to the end (Max Range) and then use an 2mm Allen Key to turn the bite point adjustment. Any question, feel free to contact us or our dealer you bought from. Thanks.

I get the basic process, but as you show it, there is a problem with this video. You start with an empty funnel and a full syringe and then you show the first bleed step as pulling from the syringe. That should be a push. Or am I missing something?
@kazanali5396
@kazanali5396 4 ай бұрын
In the video he first pulls any bubbles to the syringe then pushes the liquid the back through so any remaining bubbles make their way to the funnel above

Some places show a black hose and other places like in this video it shows a white hose. Will the black LH4 as well as the black LHT come equipped with a black hose or white?

4:56 If we order a complete brakeset of the titanium version with this anti-leak solution of the hose this pin will then already be preinstalled. Is this pin reusable so you have to pull it out first before you cut the hose and then reinstall it? I just wonder how careful you'd have to be not to damage that thing so it would be good if you offered spares of these things as well because you can quickly be standing there with a bit of a dilemma.

Hi we offer a pair of extra pins and olives together with the LHT brakes.

Hmm. I think I am the cause of this video. One of my clamps got stripped on initial install. Sadly the dealer said it was user error and only offered a small discount on a replacement. That said, the stock clamp that did not strip works fine and I was able to make the stripped clamp work by drilling it out and using a longer bolt that extends through the bottom of the clamp and is held by a nylock nut. I ended up using a Trickstuff clamp (fits perfect) as theirs looks more robust and their matchmaker adapter has more adjustment. Now we need to wait for the next video explaining why the green o-rings on the bleed screws are fraying. I already purchased a bag of 8mmx5mmx1.5mm o-rings on amazon as I am not sure the stock ones will survive another bleed. The brakes themselves are working great. Love the power and the feel.
@lewisbikeofficial
@lewisbikeofficial 5 ай бұрын
Hello Sorry about the Clamps problem. We offer two pieces foam pad together with the brakes, if the clamp is not tight enough , you can paste them on the handlebar and put the clamps on them. Right now we are also developing a new clamp to fit all the handlebar size for sure. About the bleed screw O-ring, thanks for your feedback, you can also ask for extra ones from our dealer, but we will solve this problem for sure.

For the non-LHT levers, you can end up with the hose bending awkwardly into the lever and creating a mess of your brake cable routing. The following worked for me: Fully assemble the hose to the lever follow your instructions in this video. Place the lever on the bar in the desired position. If the desired position creates an awkward twist of the brake hose you can do the following to adjust rotation of the hose in the lever. With the lever in the desired position, mark the "up" portion on the collar (the part that goes over the hose.) Pencil or fine point sharpie works well for this. Next, allow the brake lever to rotate so that the hose is in a natural position near where you would like the lever mounted. Mark the "up" position on the hose near the collar. Remove the lever from the hose and remove the threaded barb from collar. Rotate the "up" mark on the collar to the "up" mark on the hose. Reinstall the threaded barb, being careful to not rotate the collar on the hose. Once seated, thread the hose onto the lever and you should have very minimal hose twist when you mount the lever.

You guys somehow started from the Trickstuff design and we don‘t like these stuff here in Germany. But: your went further and improved it a lot, that is just and cool. Your price point is okay but I would like to see that you have a bleed port like Shimano or TRP is using, since it is way cleaner and easier to handle. Aside from that, we would like to see more refined finish of the product, that is another production step but shouldn‘t add too much cost.

Owning just freshly a Trickstuff Maxima for 1.2k I see the „similarities“ but must admit, they have done a pretty good job here. And the Maxima is difficult to bleed, no bite point adjustment and so on. The new generation of these brakes here with leverage rate adjustment is definitely a option to buy - for half the price of a Trickstuff brake.
