We have a Tescan Vega 3 with a tungsten Filament. We don't have an FE source. But if you go to this link you will find the SOP. Hope that is helpful. It will be active for 24 hours. docs.google.com/document/d/1iie2d0PoYDhGZSclFXEP7ow7cjlZrgPN/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=114991182840748863341&rtpof=true&sd=true

How do I know the best kvs for my sample or workpiece?

When you say kvs do you mean accelerating voltage? If you do, it would depend on the samples. If you can elaborate I may be able to help.

@@tomallston2118 Yeah accelerating voltage for the sample which I am using (Nickel- Inconel 718) after the surface grinding process by CBN single grain .

@@mohammedal-nehari1135 This is a conductive sample so imaging should be straight forward. If you want more of the very surface structure than 1-5 kev should do it. Obviously 30 kev will always give you a better image but secondary electrons come from a deeper point in the sample. For a metal sample this should not be as critical though. Good luck.

Do you have any guides for taking an Image using Tapping mode? I'm quite inexperienced in doing AFM so Thank you for your guide.
