I found that when you put the stitch marker on after you knit and slip you actually have the marker one stitch off.

Looks like it would be a lot easier to use wooden needles instead of those slippery metal ones. At least for the videos.

Neat trick. I’ll have to try it sometime. I’ve significantly improved the tension issues that happen in that join, but that little gap does sometimes occur, especially when I’m using slippery yarn. Thanks for the tip!

Taking your time in getting to the point makes me lose interest, also using dark yarn doesn’t help.

Im learning to knit and trying a hat. Looking at different joining methods and I think this looks easier for me. Good tutorial thanks.

Here's my tip.....I like to place my main marker between the second-to-the-last stitch and the last stitch. It still tells me I'm at the end of my round but the marker won't fall off the needle because it's blocked by the last st. Thanks for your video.
