I got my kids there firs ball from well a pet store. I think its a Lightning Pied metal but not 100% sure. Do you think you could help me id it?

Hello, I've never heard of metal before but there are many types of lightning pieds depending on the type of Axanthic in the animals you are breeding. I work with VPI Axanthic and to make a lightning pied for with my vpi needs fire or pastel or both to be a "true lightning pied" lol. I could definitely help with IDing your python 👍.

You are absolutely right sell and buy an upgrade instead of just working on fighting time. In the snake world you either throw money or time at projects, in this case you are buying yourself time by upgrading. A very good lesson to share.

Would you recommend something on the bottom that rises just above the water to save any escapes hatclings that wind up in the water. Im using the exact same egg boxes you have here and the only way to orevent an escape is by stacking boxes or locking/weighing down the lids.

I never did that or had that issue. I'm usually on top of removing my hatchlings from the egg box before they have too much time to explore

Thanks 👍.... It's the albumen, not yolk. It's just extra fluid, and sometimes when cutting the eggs and leaving too much in there it starts to get funky so I just let some out. Doesn't effect the snake

I dont see DG at all. DG really cleans up where the darker areas get blushing. He looks too dirty to me. Beautiful but not DG. Look at the one next to him. Where the dark spots get washed out, super clean.

Yep, sold last night, but if I'm being honest the pair of lightning clown pied project snakes is 110% the investment to make. Close in price but gives you the ability to make triple recessives
