Yes it is essential that he makes the style change, this is the reason acrobatic and old school style movements are only just more risk and less reward. So it doesn’t adapt to new school scoring and become less effective this is why it isn’t used much. This certainly doesn’t make new school easy, it’s just more adaptable for scoring, also CJ needs to make this change because he is always losing to the same opponents, even Mirhashem Hosseini has beaten him before too.

@@anonymousr1918he has said in interviews he was trained to the modern taekwondo way of fighting and he was losing way more fights. He says it’s not his identity and not his way of fighting so he prefers to fight his way and improve
