Tithes and charity are not the same. Dont steal the Lord's tithe and use it for charity.

Very compelling argument... not sure if it's really, actual Judaism she's arguing for, or a new religion, but whatever it is, I'd be open to learning about it. I'm sure there are others as well.

I’m just grateful that Chochmat Halev is still intact. It’s been a rough 5 years without Brian. Being virtually invisible in a congestion, looking at our rabbi and knowing he only sees those he relates to. Apparently one should practice what they preach. It’s not only sbout you.

A very thought provoking talk. Putting this into the light of 2023-24, my criticism of this point of view is that the modern waves of antisemitism are coming from a different mindset, or perhaps the true mindset of all antisemitism. That is that the perpetrators believe that the Jews deserve it for their wrongs wrought on society/the world/Palestinians etc. In other words, whether it is due to killing Jesus, being usurers, adulterating the purity of the genepool, carrying out genocide etc, they don't attack Jews because we are Jews who they hate and it gives them some satisfaction, but because we are a source of a societal ill, and they are agents of justice/righteousness. Therefore, the only reaction to that can be: (i) we are not guilty of this thing and don't deserve punishment; or (ii) we are guilty of something and deserve some punishment. They force the conversation so that there is no option (iii) to say you don't have the right to attack us per se. Formerly we were powerless and could only turn within in response. Now we are not powerless but we still lack the ability to control the narrative.

I don't think the Babylonians attached Israel because of hatred, just out of greed for more and more territory, like almost every empire. They also tried to take over Egypt. So while I agree that anti-semitism is not the Jews' fault, one cannot remove the Creator from the picture - it is the protection against anti-semitism which comes from the Creator. And our behavior is critical - we need BOTH to fight back in any way possible and to be true to our contract with the Creator.

The path for Jewish practical and social prosperity seems suddenly to have grown narrower. Flexigidity illuminates a path forward in the darker times we face today. Grinstein has described a scenario that is mainly a snapshot in time - conflicting forces seeking a resolution. The concept can also be looked upon as a process over time - where one set of values and influence gains precedence until contrary forces ascend. As Israel and the Jewish people deal with the current crises, Flexigidity provides a framework for charting a course forward. May we find the stability to weather the challenge and the strength to bend as we must to move ahead.

Shalom everyone in the name of YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH our Savior. You found the Hebrews Israelites in HAYTI. Thank you for being there. Because we have been scattered around the four corners of the earth. Unfortunately as brother we should tell you the truth. In Psalms 133:1 is correct but we should know where to worship the Most High YHWH and where to wait for Him. Toward the East where His throne is located; Wednesday is the day; Ezekiel 46:1-12 and Isaiah 66:23-24. Psalm113:3 and psalm 118:20 are crystal clear. Maranatah! Shalom!

Superman is steeped in jewish language & cultire on the basis of race not religion. El-Hebrew-God Also links the Hebrews to the Canaanites & other Northerm Semitic people and language El was also a supreme deity Its pagan in origin Kryptonians have El in their names Kal El Jor El Superman characters double L first and last names Lex Luthor Lois Lane Linda Lee among others Also Superman’s weakness Iron yes has a basis in stopping his x ray vision but is also a Biblical referemce as well as the teligion came abput at the end of the Bronze Age and the beginning of the Iron Age and the advamced pagan people/empires of the time had iron and the jews did not have this advanced technology whoch is why there is a passage about the Hebrew God/and army being defeated by the iron chariots. Symbolizing Iron conquering Bronze, Iron Age vonquering Bronze Age. Superman was created ny yeo jewish men diring WW2 and its no coincidence.
@charlottegranger1449 Жыл бұрын
lead is Superman’s weakness but it does have similarities to Iron in that both are metaks used to advance technology, lead can be seen as a modern day equivalent of what iron was to the ancient cultires. So norh share a weakness of metal thay was used for advanced technologu

O' so sad, class mates played a prank on you and a teacher, unjustly, caught you doing spitballs. How traumatic! If only they knew you were a gay they would have worshiped you, as gay men demand to be worshiped, all your trauma could have been avoided. My 1'st day at public school in South Carolina, after my dad got promoted as a submarine commander, moving us from Groton, CT to Charleston SC, after school, getting lost on the way to the bus station, 4 brothers jump me and rolled me, a game they play down South, meaning stole everything I had while kicking me in the head. So I'm sorry, if I don't empathize with your water prank and your whiny a** pathetic story. Grow up and stop being a sissy.

This is absolutely beautiful. I am not familiar with the culture in general, but I'm a writer, by hand, and I feel something deeply significant in the act of transferring my internal, otherwise unknowable world onto the material plane where it can be seen. It feels Spiritual to me. I am humbled to hear of the intention infused into the Torah and its being handwritten is somehow comforting, almost validating in a way to me. Thank you for sharing this. 💖🙏💖
