Take bluegill and night crawlers use a slip bobber if you don’t got one fish on bottom. Try live bluegill then cut then worms then worm and cut bluegill. You should catch one. Just watch people around you how they do it.

Ahh all the way down in the reel is hard either way but you got more hope with rubber. Depends on the reel too.

@@Hillbillydeluxeoutdoors I appreciate it. I use Abu 6500s and some lakes around me are 20 ft deep so I need to fish deeper than a lot of other places. Just concerned the rubber stopper may get stuck in the reel guide
