A question here... I was reading that Mere beck says their fishery is a "moving water" fishery which I would understand to mean a stream. The water you are fishing appears quite still. Did Mere beck actually build a stream somewhere? thank you!

Hi, the fishery is set up with a pump system that pushes water through all the lakes. There is a stream section which you can fish. It "looks" like a stillwater but the are inflows into each lake. It makes for an interesting small water fishery and certainly unlike anywhere else I've fished. Hope that helps.

Simon Huthwaite but how fast does any stream area flow? Is it like a slow walking speed? Or does it barely move fast enough to notice? that is what is confusing about the image. thank you.

The fishery consists of 8 different lakes all interconnected by flowing water. The stream section runs quite swiftly, I would say faster than walking speed but is not visible on any of this video. If you check their facebook page, you should be able to look at the lakes and how they are connected in more detail. Hope this helps!

Simon Huthwaite yes that helps very much. thanks! They must use a lot of horse power to run all that much stream then. ... update.. I just found video on their fb page. Now I see the small creek between ponds. That answers my questions. Thanks for your help!
