Thank you so much, dear Jian, for your awesome opening essay on clarifying that the Islamic Republic is not the same as Iranians!

Powerful opening essay. I feel like it deserved its own episode given the current events. On the topic of alternative medicine, I wish the critique of this approach were voiced by someone opposed to it as well. I personally spent a large amount of money on acupuncture with zero effect. I think placebo is a huge factor. That said the role of stress cannot be denied. But the treatment methods are a bit sketchy in my view.

Thanatophobia! (Fear of death) How did we get here & where are we going? It’s all a mystery! So, “don't take life too seriously, you will never get out of it alive!” 😂 Live in the moment! cause “yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, that’s why it is called the present 🎁” 😇🌻

Playing piano can evolve a range of emotions, from excitement and anticipation to nervousness and satisfaction. It's a moment of discovery and connection with the instrument, marking the beginning of a rewarding musical journey. Kinda like out of body experience, kundalini awakening! 😱😂 music is powerful! 🎼

Very hard constantly making sure you are not a "Ethno ambassador freak". Hope he deal on a deeper level with that. Being son of Masoud Behnoud is own trauma. He was a SAVAK's infiltrator among journalis, and soon following the 1979 Islamic plaque, he changed course sending Jafarian and Nikkhah two prominent tv personalities to death dallows with fabricated accusations. On the next topic, It' s more LA syndrome, due to the shallowness. Remeber LA was innitially doinated by exmonarchists and well off remated to the previous establishmet.Iranians in Europe are much mofe felax or at least pretend to be or many so uncinscious about brands at least the first gen.

I can certainly relate to that feeling being away from home for so many years . However as they say, “Wherever you go, There you are!” no matter where you are or what you're doing, you cannot escape from yourself. You carry your own thoughts, emotions, and experiences with you wherever you go. “Make peace with the present moment and let this moment be your friend” “whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it” -The Power Of Now - Eckhart Tolle

Jian aziz, I hit the like because I'm a big fan of your professional performance as a host , and I might not like some of your guests on the show, such as this rude guy Kambiz Hoseini who I believe he thinks if he keep using F word in his conversation on a public show makes home sounds more American or, better English speaker or a cooler guy. Whatever it is, he is just so inconsiderate that there might be some kids around us when we're watching or listening to a show or podcast. Not only that, but also there might be a lot of audiences like me who don't like to hear that nasty word all the time. I don't care if you use it in your private network, but I don't like to hear that on a public show, which is not your show and has its own audiences. Your audience has chosen to listen to your rude conversation, but the audience of other shows that you've been only invited as a guest might not want to. So, for the sake of respecting public audiences, let's keep our conversation pleasant to the public, not only to a specific group.
What is it about Persian culture that they are constantly late to an event, parties, concerts? It’s downright disrespectful. They don’t have any consideration for other people’s time. Who knows? Perhaps, “inattentiveness” and “time blindness”? Go figure! 🤷♀️

It would have been a great experience to witness the festival in person. It’s unfortunate Iranians never fully appreciated what Iran was before the revolution. I do think the leftist “intellectuals” and mullahs and Islamists spread propaganda to subvert the entire country into a theocratic nightmare and convinced people that the monarchy was terrible. Now, look at the state of Iran today. I hope Iranians topple the current regime and once again restore Iran’s national and international dignity. And maybe one day, if there’s anything left of Iran, the arts (the antithesis of Islam) will flourish again, and tourism will grow.
