Im 22 with 34k and trying to save 100k in 2 years too , i plan to have 50k by end of year, did it seem like on your journey , you had a bunch of unexpected/ expensive expenses ? Like stuff always coming up , if so how did you go about it?

That is awesome!! I made so much money last yr it didn't affect me much. I also buffered $1,000 every month so if something happened i would use it. If nothing occurred, i just rolled it to savings

Last year i worked multiple jobs. 3 exactly as a physical therapist. I worked one job saturday and sunday. Another sunday and Monday performing home health admission. The pay was higher due to it being the weekend. For each job, i made 94,000 and the other 96,000. The third one about 50,000 m-f 2 or 3 people a day..so about 240,000. I am resting now and my daughter became sick this yr so i am taking time off.

Yes I am not working full time now but i am working on my credentials to start my own small therapy business. I probably will see 3 people a day so I can still stay home with my daughter. I am not sure if I will make more videos because people on the internet are so miserable and negative. I really don't enjoy having to go back and forth with trolls.

What I did to help was use my credit card. I don't carry debt but I use my credit card for what I already budget for and pay it right off. That seemed to help me

Here's an update. It's now 7/29/24 and Like Silverbuck, I'm doing a money challenge where we save 100 count of every denomination. Like 100 of the ones, 100 of the two's, 100 of the fives, 100 of the tens and so on! and when your done with all the denominations, you'll have $18,800. Right now I need to collect 30 more of the fifty dollar bills. And then I need to collect and save 18 more of the Hundreds and then i'm done with the challenge having $18,800! when I collect a 100 count of any denomination, you can put a money strap around it to show that the currency is done! For the two's I didn't have any straps, so I printed off the strap and taped it around the two's! Works just as good!
