The stairs technique is literally the most make or break thing to learn in Puyo Puyo. Its the difference between (using Mean Bean Machine as a reference) getting to level 6 and beating robotnik from levels 7 through 12. Stairs is how you'll beat the CPU on higher difficulties.

After building the columns I have no idea what happened. I couldn’t wrap my head around puyo if my life depended on it.

For the record, the lore text during the TLB appears if you don't fight the monk in stage 2-4. It's not exclusive to a 1CC what *is* exclusive to the 1CC is the track that played for you during the final escape, "Now or Never, Get Fired Up" pretty small but otherwise cool bonus for all the hard work lol

This play through is actually triggering me lol... how do you discover another charge mechanic to your special weapons and not explore all the upgraded shots?!?

Placing that piece yellow down in column 4 is a no-brainer for a few reasons, mostly because 3 greens and a yellow are coming and you can build a whole sandwich link onto it (without having to split once), it also avoids a spire in column 3 limiting access to column 2, there's also already a purple yellow in column 6 that could be connected to the green sandwich by making a GTR out of it, plus, if you stack those vertically in column 3, anything that does more than 12 damage has a chance to kill, meaning you would be looking out for a power 2 coming.

Could you make a tutorial on sandwiches? I actually found this very helpful considering I usually do stairs when playing.

1:44:05 and 2:07:20 were some great moments!

In first example, I reckon purples would have made a transition really nicely and purple/green and yellow/green could be used either to start second floor while you wait for more purples or placed in columns 5/6 to start a simple stair tail.
