Bravo! Best recording of this piece since Oliver Vernet. Not too slow or two fast. Just right!

Why is the choir hidden?
@tempfli-zsolt10 ай бұрын
The event was about the celebration of the organ, so the choir was not really in focus. Besides, the cameras were placed in such a way, so that the choir was basically invisible. It was not our decision where to put them.

Fair enough. That aside, it was a great performance - for which I thank you.@@tempfli-zsolt

Latin: Laudate Dominum omnes gentes - laudate Eum omnes populi. Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia eius - et veritas Domini manet in aeternum. Gloria Patri, et Filio et Spiritui Santo, sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper - et in saecula saeculorum. Amen. English: Praise the Lord, all nations - praise Him, all people. For He has bestowed His mercy upon us - and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and forever - and for generations of generations. Amen.

@GermanGreetings Thanks a lot. The Fridolin Ferstl organ (1777-1782) was rebuilt by Országh Sándor in 1890-91, in cone valve system. This Országh organ was restored by Voxhumana Csíkszereda and Sándor Péter Orgelbau in 2020-24.

That`s more than enough, to work with, Sir, thanks a lot :) I lived in a strong Klais-Organ area for 40 years (Cologne, Altenberger Dom, Bonn, Himmerod)... fantastic organs, and I even was allowed in some rare cases, to sit down... One year ago, I began to lift my horizon, since then I study, how many different and brillant Organ-Manufacturers there are all over Europe, and of listening to the masters, who really can make them shine :)
A strong interpretation, powerful by the simple truth, to play a note short, to make the next one strong. You gave this technique perfection, dear Kristofi Janos ! Thank you so much for this performance ! P.S. Who built the organ ?

In bar 258 of the original, there is f sharp in the bass, because its a tonic pedal. C sharp sounds realy wrong, like a full blown root position dominant, while the original has a different feeling in that bar because of tonic bass + dominant harmony above it.

Let me first say ............Mozart was a walking musical genius. I had this musical score sing at out wedding, and yes, at my mother's funeral. This will live on long after we are dust......Laudate Dominum !!!...Dr Bob ;-)

It's beautiful, great accomplishment and execution. I wasn't sure about Schoenberg and Berg when I first heard them, but the more I listen the more I like and the more I hear in it. Skeptics and laypeople should know that this music is carefully considered and very deliberate in terms of its choices. The ideas behind it are significant and profound, this school really expanded post-romantic composition dramatically. I keep coming back for repeated listening.
