What’s the point of this if you have to put your card in…just scan the code with your phone and you’re done. It’s actually faster to NOT use this service.

No, it doesn't work that way, it goes to Square first, and then it will deposit it into your connected bank account. It usually takes a day or two.

@@ossuarys_cage I bet it is because of the 4th holiday. But if you don't get it by tomorrow, you should check the bank account number listed with Square is correct. Its usually pretty quick deposits in the US.

Hi guys i wanted to add something cool about this card, a couple of days ago, an Uber employee hacked my account and drain my earnings for the week, i reported to uber and they did nothing, these people have access to my account and they will be able to get my earnings every time they want it, using this card will prevent this to happen, so whatever little fee you have to pay is nothing compared to loosing all your earnings.

Shouldn't we be questioning just how much this lines up with 2,000 year old biblical prophecy. We are being conditioned to take a mark. The Bible says ALL who take the mark will suffer ETERNAL torment in the lake of fire, and all who refuse it won't be able to buy, sell or trade without it. And will even be put to death for refusing to take it. Even if you are not totally convinced the bible is true, is it really worth taking the risk? It's a HARD PASS for me.

Oh, shut up. There is no mark being used, it's a freaking camera that scans the wrinkles of your hand and uses it to identify you. All you bible thumpers take things way out of context to fit your narrative just to try and feel "holier than thou".

It goes to your square balance and then you should get the money in your business bank account within 2 business days. If you have the Square Merchant card, then you can get access to this money sooner if you need it from a cash flow perspective, but you have to apply for that separately.

No catch, if you drive or deliver with Uber, then you can sign up for this card, and your Uber earnings get deposited instantly on to this card, and then you can use those funds to pay for your gas. A day or two later you get the cash back, deposited right in your account. I casually drive for Uber, so I'm on the lowest tier (blue) with the 2% cash back, but if you are a diamond driver, it goes up to 8% cash back!

Instant deposit is free to the account. You get paid after every ride or delivery. In terms of gas discounts, it applies to all gas stations. You get extra bonuses if you go to Exxon or Mobil.

I would assume that this is similar on Android, the issue is that there is a lot of variability in Android hardware and how and where the NFC is located. You may need to enable NFC payments on Android for this option to appear within your Square app. On Apple, since the hardware is standardized, it just works with a simple setup.

Great video as I used the mobile order ahead of time today for the first time. I normally just order at the window with the drive up code. But if I mobile order ahead of time like today how will I know if I got rewards points with my order?

Because it is all connected to your account, you should get your rewards points after you pickup your food. I don't believe they apply the rewards points right away, it happens after the order pickup. Pretty cool right?

I think Square still requires you to have some Business identifier but the signup process is pretty simple on Squareup.com. I see a ton of people setting this up for various food fairs, craft fairs etc, so it should be pretty easy to setup for second hand items too!

Are you looking at the Rewards tab and seeing the "Lifetime" amount? If so, that's just telling you how much you earned but it was all deposited into your main wallet balance automatically, and can be used anytime.

Some cashier/ management don't even know how to use the app, I tried it and the lady at the register didn't know the system...ridiculous, a manager at that. I never knew we can skip the register by using the app with the card link

Do you have to specify the location when you order on the app? If so, then what if you changed your mind and wanted to go to another McD location, e.g., if you ran into traffic at the original location?

Sunil this is a great question. The one thing that I found really interesting with McDonald's order ahead is that they actually make the food as you get closer to the location. It's not like they have the food ready and you just pick up. So I bet you can change location pretty easily or even cancel. I'll have to give it a shot next time I do this!
