Old school salon stuffiness which shut out the new wave of what is known as Impressionism? But in the end got washed over by the urgent creativity which ultimately gave us Cézanne - thank god!

Such a magnificent piece. This one and "Malibú Cheesecake" are both my favorites on Lady Olivia De Berardinis's collection. ❤

Thanks for exposing the KZbin environment to this book Creative Perspective for Artists and Illustrators by Mr. Watson, it is one of the earliest books I bought on perspective and I love it and highly recommend it for up and coming artists.

This is the BEST Bernie Wrigtson artwork he’s ever done. As an illustration graduate it’s a master class in the most emotive and dramatic art work in pen and ink I’ve ever seen. I have to get this book.

Well. you sure went thru *Olivia's* *Bettie* *Page* *Book* _rather quickly._ That's how I know you're not a #LateBabyBoomer like me. Have a Beer, then come back and spend at least 30 minutes per page art, and you'll discover the Artistic Genius and *Artistic* *Line* Olivia already had before she replaced *Alberto* *Vargas* at #PlayBoy Magazine, Baby.

Would it be possible to have a complete picture of the pages from 0:40 ? I'm referring to those 4 pages in particular where it shows his painting process. Wish I could buy the book and take a look at it by myself but it is not available in my country and is way too expensive to import it. Thank you!

I had the honor of meeting Boris at a convention one time. And I just gushed and said how I wished I could draw like he could cause I could never draw a straight line (meaning I don't have the talent). He told me he couldn't either, and just to draw. I didn't "hear" it at the time, but I do now. Gracias señor.
