Jake would be a hell of tele skier based on how much forward lean he has in those boots. Dude rips switch!

Acquired these in the 182 length. I have to agree with your tester’s comments. It opens up beautifully on a long GS turn, smooth, planted and the edges grip as you would want them to. Switching to shorter radius turns is so easy and once again it delivers a smooth, reactive, energy fun turn. You can ski with just the right amount of technique and less drive and it responds so efficiently and effectively. If you want to stomp on it and go for max speed it is exhilarating and performs incredibly well with finesse. I love this ski. It will be my main driver this winter. I finally committed to go back down to one ski from three as I did decades ago.

One of the coolest things to come out recently. Wish we had gotten some kicker/ pillow tricks by McNutt too but Carney can do no wrong. I need people to film the guy a lot more

Seams to be a perfect ski. I am interest in the Backland 102 as a one ski quiver for resort skiing and touring in all conditions and all durations. I had one day on backland 100s and was surprised about carveability on groomers for that light and width als well as floatation and easy handling on transformed no-powder anymore. I hope the new construction without wondermaterials maintained that ridgidity. Any thoughts about that?

Thank you for the review! What is actual tip to tail length of the new 185 M-Free 100? Is it longer than the previous 182 M-Free 108s? I ask because the current 185 M-Free 99 measures 182 cm.

I demoed the QST 106 a couple years ago.. I think the length was 187 with like a 23 turn radius.. They were too long for me..

One of the most underappreciated gems in the history of ski films. Such a great soundtrack and vibe. And of course parker logan and duncan are incredible skiers. Dolan approves of this video.

Hi, it's a little hard to tell in the pictures but what mounting point did you use? The "All Mountain" one or something closer to center? And why did you choose such? Thanks!

Can we compare sizes to Oakley's Flight Deck? Is the 4D Mag similar to FD L(XL) and 4D Mag S similar to Flight Deck M (XM) ? I am wondering which size of 4D Mag i should choose.

Great ski, I like my 174cm a lot at 6ft 215lb and 53yr, skiing yearly since 20’ish… only 2 gripes.. the material is really soft so any contact leaves a mark. Second, I have a few other pairs for comparison, the Steadfast is indeed a very stable, groovy and fast running front side ski, but I have other skis that feel lighter, turn quicker, and handle steep narrow bumpy blues/blacks much better. When the going gets tough and rough I feel like the Steadfast demands more of me before they’ll predictably come around, not sure why.. If speed is your thing and you’re still young enough to heal fast the Steadfast is a good ride, but look elsewhere if your local patch is steep/tight/rough and you’re older.
