Have the 9l and just ordered the 3l after trying it for a small m4/3 camera setup. Think 6l is the best option for most people. Went for the small 3l knowing the size limitations but just want a sling type camera bag which there are surprisingly few options out there with enough structure for interchangeable lens setup. The 3l is nice, a bit bulky for a small bag. But some things are cheap or I’ll thought out. Like the straps underneath and the gigantic key leash… May cut them off and put on better kit. Really could’ve benefitted from hoops like peak design carry system which would give more carry options and not leave dangling hoops at the bottom. Second thing is the strap is too bulky for a small sling. No need to have the same strap and padding for a small bag and the 9l version… general theme with the design being overly “rugged” when not needed. For example massive handles. Other small misses are top pocket is just open cavity and could have used organisation for as cards or cables. Front pocket pretty tight a can hard fit a slim wallet or battery bank. Feel like fixing these things would make this an incredible bag.

The problem with this is - your rode 2 is still overblowing the input as you tap it and then sends the overblown input into the zoom, then the zoom is just lowering the volume. Yes, it will be quite, but all the sound imperfections and artifacts from the initial input in the rode will still be there, just quiet. Just tested it out personally.
@itsgussy
@itsgussy 4 ай бұрын
@@santiagoriveropresenta the problem is that you’re leveling your mic by tapping on it, which is the incorrect way of doing so. My example is for visual purpose to see which mic corresponds to the appropriate channel. Tapping on the microphone will cause it to distort because it’s being directly impacted what you need to do is make sure that your mics are leveled on the Main mic in order for you not to have a hot input coming into the zoom or any audio recorder. You can always use a 32 bit float recorder to circumvent this as well and cleaning up the audio in post as you should be doing.

Thanks for this. Just wish i could mount the rode wireless go 2’s receiver directly on the Sony fx3 cold shoe (on the body, not the handle) and go directly into camera -especially when using a gimbal. Unfortunately, when the Rode wireless go 2’s receiver is mounted this way, close to the top of the Sony FX3 , you get a bad buzz. You can reduce it a bit using a coiled 3.5mm cable instead of the flat one that comes with the Rode, and also put ferrite rings on the cable, but i haven’t found anyone who has completely been able to eliminate the buzz. Spoke to Rode about it. You can play with the gain settings, use a longer cable (which flops around), etc., but I believe there is really no way to eliminate the buzz completely when the Rode wireless go 2’s receiver is mounted on top of the fx3 camera body, and going directly into the fx3 camera body’s 3.5mm input. The original Rode wireless go (mono) doesn’t have this problem. Happy the transmitters record internally!
