Sounds great, mate! Just about to grab a tonex pedal. How you finding it?
@SLATEB0YКүн бұрын
impressive, actually. Some nice tones but even better you can capture your own sounds. The latest update offers modulation and delay but, obviously, the one-button version i have has limited functionality. Great for a back-up or if you only use a couple of sounds. Saves carrying an amp to schools too! Those extra buttons on the bigger units will serve you well. The only thing i dont like is that it takes me over an hour to capture/profile a rig though to be fair thats not the sort of thing you do regularly.

Yesterday I took delivery of my new B.Beat and I have been getting familiar with it. One thing that was a bit hit and miss was the transfer of files using the Ethernet cable, for some reason the unit would simply lose connection with the B.Beat manager software and I would have to restart. Strangely the most reliable connection seems to be the wifi network. I think there should be a video tutorial on how to setup your PC's ethernet settings, my laptop seems to recognise the B.Beat and connects without any problems in the manager software, however my desktop PC simply will not connect and I have spent hours trying. By routing the click and the cue's to the headphone output allows me to make full use of six outputs purely for tracks, if you plan to "pan" your clicks and cue's, make sure you add stereo tracks, not mono. If you want to run videos with audio, you have to add the separate audio wav / mp3 first and then add the video file - this will then allow you to playback videos with sound. I hope in future updates they add FLAC files - that would be great, still a bit confused how the unit converts audio to its native format of wav 48 khz 24bit, defeats the object of using MP3's to save space.?
@SLATEB0Y22 күн бұрын

I'm certain you can do that control with the midi-captain as you can assign multiple midi commands to one button. Just need to know what the midi command data is. I wonder if you could gig with it. Just connect the receptor device (Iphone, laptop, etc) to the DI and Bob's your uncle.
@SLATEB0YАй бұрын
i did originally buy it with that in mind as a back up rig. However, it is possible (but unlikely) for anyone with the app to connect to the device and change your settings. You'd need to make sure your cable was secure too as it would be easy to pull it out. Perhaps better to have a long/proper jack lead and mount this unit near the receiving device so the jack cable takes all the physical load.
